Astriel is the oldest out of her sisters having made all the mistakes first out of her sisters to draining humans dry to a raisin to causing chaos between her fellow vampires that got in her way. She had slumbered for burning a human village to the ground as her father wanted to teach her a lesson that it's better to not be seen by the humans for them to only think of rumors of vampires. Astriel had other plans she enjoyed showing herself to the humans luring them to her with her hypnotic song that she likes to sing. Like her father Valdamire before her she has his bat like wings that come out of her back making travel from area to area much easier. She's also a telepath that can hear and implant thoughts into another beings mind. She uses this to initialize fear in the humans to not cross her path. After her years of a fledgling she slowed down when she met one vampire that could calm her nerves.That was kioshi a created vampire by another vampire from a bite.After meeting him she didn't want to terrize humans as much as she was focused more on Kioshi teaching him everything she knew to be a vampire from feeding to the point where the victim walks away alive. Kioshi was everything to her even having a daughter of her own by him. After her daughter was born things were a fairy tale having her own family she feels welcome to.Soon the happy years had past and Kioshi being a previous vampire slayer turned vampire by his last target found himself on a mission by Astriels father to get to the bottom of the fledgling disappearings. Astriel waited years on end raising her daughter on her own for quite some time before hearing of him being staked. Rage and hurt brew up in Astriel for years enough where she had her sister Sai watch over her daughter a few times trying to gain rumor of the slayer that staked her husband.
Astriel grew cold over the years without Kioshi at her side leaving her own castle to stay with her father and sisters. She even gained a wolf demon companion that she saved from the grasp of a slayer. Since that day Demon had been at her side both a friend and companion protecting her from danger best he could.
