American Honda saw a record breaking November with sales rising throughout the month on a number of models, including the Honda CR-V and Honda Fit, that have become ever popular with returning and new customers alike. As a whole the American Honda Company sold a staggering 121,814 vehicles in the month of November for automobile sales to remain healthy during the month. The sales of Honda vehicles hit an all-time high in November to reach a figure of 106,957 vehicles sold by the company, the sister brand of Acura also saw a healthy rise in sales to hit the 14,857 number, according to AutoNews.
The new sales record set by Honda was helped by a staggering jump in the number of CR-V crossover vehicles sold and the compact Fit, which both saw double figure increases in terms of the percentage of vehicles sold. CR-V sales saw a leap of 38 percent, while the Fit saw an even larger increase to see a 55 percent jump in sales and reach numbers of 6,421 vehicles sold in the US during the month of November. The success of the many different models associated with the Honda brand see the tradition of excellence remain for the automaker who is known as one of the most respected and loved brands in North America.
Truck sales for Honda during November also hit record levels, with the combination of the Pilot, which saw a jump in sales to just over 9,000 vehicles combined with the large increase in CR-V sales for a record breaking month. The combination of the vehicles sold in the truck model range lifted sales by 51,735 vehicles for the strongest ever monthly showing by Honda in truck models.
The General Manager of the North American Honda division, Jeff Conrad took the opportunity provided by the record breaking Honda sales month to congratulate the brand on its string sales across the entire model range. In a period when gas prices have been falling around the World, the majority of vehicle manufacturers had expected a fall in compact car sales, but the success of the CR-V and Fit models in November shows just how highly the Honda range is regarded by the public in all sizes and options. Honda vehicles are well known for their high level of performance and the excellence of their manufacturing processes, which has seen the auto maker become one of the best loved brands in the US and Canada over the past few decades. The continued success of the brand shows the high level of research and development that continues to drive Honda to become one of the most popular brands of the current moment and will continue long into the future.
