Limit the amount of Vitamin A you consume. It is known for causing damage to a baby during early development. Avoid foods that have this vitamin, including liver, mozzarella cheese, egg yolks and mangos. You can have a small amount of these, but avoid eating them daily.

Stretch out your legs to avoid leg cramps. Every pregnant woman has awakened in the night to a leg in knots. Stretch before bed and stay hydrated to prevent leg cramps.

Take a few minutes to actually write down a birth plan. This plan should include tasks for other people to do on your behalf while you are at the hospital.
