So one thing that I've been thinking of lately is memory loss. Why is it that sometimes an event can happen but suddenly we immediately forget certain important aspects of said event? Or why is it that sometimes we'll be in a group of people reminiscing yet we might be the only ones that can remember a certain experience? Well I have a theory! (A very unlikely to almost impossible theory, but a theory nonetheless)
What if it's time travelers! Ok now hear me out before you immediately decide to ignore this and move on. What if the reason we "forget" certain memories is because they never happened in the first place? What we "forgot" was actually an alternate reality placed by the time travelers! For instance, whenever our friends or family have brought up a memory that we couldn't seem to remember for the life of us is because it never actually happened. We're just so used to it that we blame everything on memory loss. But what if we actually have a superior mind and memory that we don't succumb to the changed experience of time-altered events. And the same with the events that only we can remember. What if those happened to be time-altered events that completely changed the memory to others but we only remember what really happened before it was altered?
I know it's totally out there, but I can't help it. These are the random things I think about at 4:00 am and I can't sleep. It doesn't mean that I believe it myself, it's just a random thought.
But...
What if it was true?! (DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN)
