After my mum kicked me out, obviously, I had to live on my own. But, I went to school and acted like nothing was wrong. I acted like I still lived with my mum and my sister and such. I tried to be normal. During the week, I couldn't stay at friend's houses, so I had to stay in some crappy hotel. Well, I only could afford them for a week's time. So, I stayed over at friends' houses during the weekends. Sadly, I stayed at the same friend's house for about 2 month's worth of weekends. Like I said earlier, I hardly have any friends. I applied to a high school and had to do a bunch of stuff and had to have my sister sign it and such. Well, because I no longer had a mum. In January some time, I went and took the test. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. The one question that was running through my mind was whether or not I could pay for all 4 years of high school. I talked to my sister about it. She agreed to help me earn money. Soon I got jobs for babysitting. I was getting $60-$80 a night. I was really happy with this. A few months had gone by and it was time to get the acceptance letters. I was nervous. Oh so nervous that I was nearly going to burst. My mum sent called me up on my cellphone and told me I had gotten in and not to send letters to the house. I was relieved that I had gotten in. I told the teacher and she congratulated me. In June some time, I graduated with honors into high school. I spent the summer revising a plan to pay for the 4 years. In the summer, my grandmother had given me a laptop because I had gotten into high school. Over the summer, I had lost something like 40 pounds and was at 75 pounds by the time I was a freshman. I couldn't afford food and I just got used to being starving. I realized that my sister was my true guardian angel.
