The legend says that the house up my street is haunted. That year's ago an old lady had lived in it. Her name Was Amy Whitestone. She had bright shiny blue eye's, White untidy hair with fragile pale skin. Amy was a nice old women very healthy for her age. She was just sweet and kind to any that had passed her. Before Amy moved into this home she lived out in the country with her husband which they both had owned a farm. Straight after her husband died Amy moved out seeing that she could not work the farm on her own and decided it was time for a calm life. Though what Amy didn't know was that her wish for a calm life would soon be destroyed when moving into that old house. It had been a cold fall's day with cloud's shielding away the sun, when Amy first came to her new home. She had never seen it before, But even from just seeing it from the outside she knew right away that the house fit perfect. The house itself was a very old one, In fact as old as Amy being it's 60th year to stand. It was white with a dark blue roof and a chimney that could reach the skies. The backyard was what shown the most With it's many brightly colored flower's, fountain's and the Greenhouse. Almost as if the house had been magical taking care of itself. Amy walked around the house while waiting arrival of the carriage that was carrying her personal belonging's. The house contained three dusty covered floors, which each had huge rooms, a nice kitchen room and a small dance room for parties. It was about sun set when her second carriage came and dropped off her things. It took awhile at first about three hours if you wanted to be specific Before Amy's home actually looked like a home. And it was about an hour before the house was empty of course no one left without her famous cookies and tea filling them up and keeping them warm for their ride's home. And for the first time In a very long time Amy finally felt in peace with herself, but even good feeling's like that can't overcome life's mysterious obstacles. It was that very morning That Amy's life was about to change. She was going around the house dusting windows when she noticed this very old shack lying at the very edge of the garden. What brought the shack out the most was that Around the shack everything layed dead. Curios, Amy Stopped what she was doing and started to make way downstairs to go Inspect the old shack. What Amy wasn't prepared for that was the only way out to the back was through the enormous greenhouse. The Greenhouse was full of vivid brightful colors, Even more bright than the one's outside. The flower's looked so healthy that It was Almost if they were bright up by the purest of magic. After What had seemed like ages Amy finally reached the door. Outside the greenhouse was like another greenhouse Only that it covered the backyard and was not inside. The air felt icy after being in the humid greenhouse. After what also had seemed like a very long time (with stumbling and such) Amy reached the little old shack. The shack itself looked torn and aged but that wasn't really what made it seem odd. It was for the shack Was not covered in life and left what seemed to be an eerie feel in the air. But still as curios as Amy was she ignored the signs of not being welcomed and entered the Shabby shack. Inside the shack it contained very old boxes of misplaced shoes, torn papers, broken items and spider webs, in other words it contained junk. A very disappointed Amy turned to make her way out when she noticed a Very shining light cry for attention. She at once spun around to a beautiful Ruby with diamonds shining around the edges and held by a very Chain made purely out of the finest gold.Amy new never owning more then enough to keep her alive stared at it with wonder. Unlike any other item this one was kept untouched by the many year's of being abandoned. As though winning a million dollar's (in which to Amy's case it was) she reached for it as if it could save a million life's. It may be just because Amy was so memorized by the treasure to notice or it could be for her own greed that she ignored what had been placed next to that very stone. There in the corner a note covered by dust had a message written on it "for those who shall take upon this stone for greed will soon learn that greed can only lead to the worst of things". Back at the creaking home Amy sat wondering what to do with such a stone. First she thought of selling it but then quickly thought she might get ripped off. Though as hunger started to grow on her she was forced to look away from the bright stone and cook something. It was later into that very night when she had her warning. She sitting there with a half way cup of tea (she was in a rush to see the stone again) When She heard someone inside the house. Amy thought's was not to her own safety but for the stone's. Clutching the stone with dear life Amy's breath slowed so she was as silent as a mouse. But even being a mouse wouldn't save you from this intruder for it did not use hearing but sensing. Before she new it she was filled in a room full of smoke and fog. "What do you want from me" Amy cried in fear for her stone. The voice came from behind the misty wall "I have come for my stone for humans are greedy and for that stone is not yours to own." The voice from the intruder said. "I will not give you the stone" Amy said now with a edge in her voice of "putting her foot down". "Very well mortal but you shall pay for taking this stone and like so many others falling to the depth with it, you will parish with greed " the voice said and then with a sudden flash of light the room layed silent again. "That took care of him" thought Amy. This is where we get to the last bit of the story of Amy's sad ending of life. It had been a few week's of greed that she was at the house. No one had seen Amy outside and only a few that had seen her said she had completely gone mad. The once beautiful gardens had lost its forever color and turned gray making the whole house look like the shack. Those who lived around Amy started to worry and finally someone had come by to take her away, But before that time came Amy had passed away of what seemed to be old age and the stone was never seen or found by anyone ever again. As if Amy's stone had never actually existed. Years have passed and no one has yet to move in for a completely shuddering feeling has taken over the place. But even to this day people swear that they can her a voice heard from inside the house. It could be that Amy is calling to the stone not seeking rest until she is sure that she can take it with her.
