Asshat's Creed
A friend of mine let me borrow Assassin's Creed for the Xbox 360. I was impressed with how the main character moves, it's like super free running, but I was annoyed by a great many things. First of all, apparently every Crusader is a nearly telepathic behavioral analyst, things that you or I may have written off as normal will instantly set off alarms in their heads:

"He's walking faster than .001 miles per hour....ASSASSIN!"
"He accidentally bumped his horse into that random civilian....ASSASSIN!"

Also, it seems inconsistent within its own universe. My character has some kind of "eagle vision," that can detect people's affiliation: allies glow blue and enemies glow red. I thought this was a special assassin ability that all the assassins have, but apparently it's a super-secret ability that only my character has and has never revealed to his comrades. Case in point, I happen to use eagle vision outside the entrance to the assassin's headquarters, and found that amongst the allied guards, there was one guy with a blazing red aura. I figured he was a spy and that I would get some kind of bonus points for putting him down. I kill him and subsequently get swamped by my allies. I guess it didn't occur to them that being a full-fledged assassin, I could see the guy's deceit. Then again, it could have just been a mistake on the developer's part.

The combat controls suck as much as the movement controls rule. I can never disengage and every fight seems to take forever. When it does acknowledge that I'm doing it right, he kills people pretty quickly, but normally it's buggy.
