The Power of the Fangirl
Apparently, the universe favors the obsessing fangirl. You see, I was absolutely possitive that yesterday would go terribly as I had a bunch of things I wanted to do. However, everything went BETTER than expected. It was strange.

First, I went over to Toys 'R Us to get me some Pokemans. (Darkrai in particular >w< wink I was preparing myself for the local store to not be partaking in the event. However!, I got there and whipped out my DS... collecting my beloved mystery gift (of Darkrai). As if that didn't make me happy enough, I spotted that lovely, new Pokemon movie (The Rise of Darkrai xD) and immediately ran off to purchase it. On the ride home I was practically squealing with joy.

I believe the universe was overpowered by my joyous joy. Thusly, it decided to TRY to take me down later when I went to the mall. But, you can't keep a fangirl down. Especially not a new fangirl. Last week I bought the first Phoenix Wright game. I fell in love and beat it yesterday morning. Thusly, I decided to rush down to the mall and buy the other 2 Phoenix Wright's and Apollo Justice.

The universe, however, decided here and now to try and stop my good day. It nearly succeeded when I discovered that Gamestop only had Apollo Justice. I bought that there and left, slighty peeved. Then, I headed to Walmart. I speed-walked my way into the video game section and started searching the DS games. My sister, choosing to be no help at all, decided to play that little demo of Mario and Sonic at the Olympics instead of helping me search.

Then, by some insane miracle, I spotted Phoenix Wright 2. I was stunned. I proceeded to check the 2nd DS case and spotted Phoenix Wright 3! Walmart has never been as wonderful to me as it was then. I found a clerk to open the cases and grabbed my games. After taking a moment to gaze at them lovingly, I headed to the check-out and bought the remaining games.

And that's the story of how the power of the fangirl over powered the dream crushing power of the universe.
