I was sitting down this morning, well... more like give minutes ago, and I thought about how my birthday turned out.
Saturday, July twenty-third. I woke up early, got my cammies on and got myself a cup of coffee. My dad was sitting down petting my cat Pippy long-stalkings. I made a pretty good note and drank my coffee slow, cause it always tastes better when it is hot, and slow.
I went outside and filled my magazines for airsoft. I was pretty happy it was my birthday, and I was hoping for a great day of airsoft.
The day really started to decline after we got there. We went out for the first couple games of the day, which were great. But then at lunch break, a couple of new guys came around. They weren't the usual group we see, they were new apparently. And it really didn't seem to set right.
After lunch, we had a game. It turned out like crap. We drove the technical out there, everyone walked behind it. We got next to the trench and talked for a moment, turned all the radios to the right channel. Then we watched the other team roll out. Well, we had one truck, with a gun in the back. They had two... with closed windows, against the rules of course.
We all sighed, long and hard and then we were pretty mad. We moved into the trench and prepared to hold it. The car rolled up and our car engaged theirs, in typical fashion when the other team has the windows rolled up and your's doesn't, they lost.
Then the cars rolled down on us, and... we fired. No good, windows were up. We were ticked, and we were disappointed. But no one was really as disappointed as I was at that point.
The rest of the day carried on, we all started to lose and lose, and the other team were walking tanks. All of them walking into a rain of bbs, letting them bounce off but no response from them. That really ticked us off. They were cheating and breaking our code of honor. We were really disappointed in the bunch and mad. Good thing is, we got their cheating on tape, though... we haven't seen it yet... and... probably won't we still got it.
The great airsoft I planned on getting, went out the window really fast. And the day really didn't turn out to be a conventional birthday. Three people said happy birthday. They all asked the same question too,"Do you feel older yet?" and... well, I don't know really if it was that great of a day really. At the time, I just blew it off. Then I realized I waited a year for this day and... nothin.
God what an odd exhistance. Oh well, whatever. Those guys are banned, and I've got extra money packed away.
