Establishing the Internet romance as a pathetic attempt.
I really am. Not that, you know, people haven't met the love of their lives from the Internet, but here is my personal take and experience on it.

Firstly, I'm not very much into it. Maybe I was bored. Maybe I wanted to jazz up my life a little. But I've decided to have a "relationship" with Subject A. He knows who he is, if by any chance he'd be, again, stalking my page, looking at my comments or whatever I have happened to put up.

At first, I really thought it was okay. I mean, nothing wrong with the guy. You give everyone in the world a fair chance. But after awhile, I felt absolutely nothing for him. At all. It's just...yeah, common interest here and there, but there's no real connection.

I guess I should have told him to begin with. I don't like to lead peoples' feelings on and stuff. That's the last thing I would want to happen to me. But God. Can you blame me for not wanting to "break someone's heart"?

So I concocted a lie of sorts, about my parents not approving of online dating. Which is...for the most part true. D: But yeah, they had no idea this guy existed.

Eventually, finally, I get the "break-up" e-mail. Yeahh, boi. What I was waiting for.

.___. Blah blah, yeah. Whatever. So I decided, there's nothing wrong, just being friends with someone, that's how we started out. Why not continue the friendship.

Subject A doesn't talk about anything else but this so-called new girlfriend. Family trees and such. I was like, "Yeah, cool, you're happy, I'm happy, the end, right?"

Wrong. Apparently, he wants to dig into my own personal dating life. As if it is any business of his now. We've broken up, why do you need to know such information?

So I let him know about my friend, who I've gotten closer with over the course of a couple of months. I've known this guy for three years, we've just really started talking this year, and hell--he means the world to me. It's like one of those things that you don't expect to happen but does. Point blank: I've fallen for my guy friend, as many of us girls do, but I don't give him enough detail about it.

"What's his name?"

"...why do you need to know?"

And whatever else. I mean really, are you going to stalk him as well, hoard him with silly questions and comments?

So telling him off one day apparently makes me a b***h. I told him that if he didn't have anything constructive to talk about, to leave me alone. That's all I was asking. No more, "OMG, who're you dating?^^"

I swear, he put "^^" after every sentence. Annoying weeaboo emotes.

But anyway, yeah. That's all I was asking. Talk about something else. Don't worry about me, and who I'm going/not going with.

So I'm a b***h for telling him to find something better to talk about.

Yyyyeah.

So I proceed to block him, and I better not ever see an IM window [or MySpace message, or anything else he's found me on] from him ever again. I'm sorry I even met the guy.

So I conclude. Internet dating is apparently not right for me, which is understandable. I just don't do well meeting people online like that. I like to feel flesh. Hear voices. That's just how I am. Especially when I'm looking for someone to love. D:

Haha, he said he had gotten over me 5 seconds after sending the "break-up" e-mail. Who finds online girlfriends that fast? Doesn't friendship come first?

But I digress. While he has fun failing at the game of love, I will be trying my hand at the one I think I've truly fallen in love with.

I feel like a b***h for making this blog. Well, all-in-all, I am a b***h, really. -shrugs- Can't argue with that.

Just had to get my story out. Couldn't hold it in my system much longer.

Is it wrong that I feel so good?

Nahhh.

...so I'll close with a "Internet dating is not right for me."

The end.
