Kukem's Rambles
I often think to myself about friends and family, relationships and acquaintances as well as love of all sorts and most times, if not all the time, I come to the same relative conclusion; I'm a hopeless romantic. Sure, I know what I think is usually optimistic and I actually get a lot of grief from friends about it, but I have also found that generally I am in a better mood and get sick less often than those of a bad mood or, as some like to call it, a "realistic outlook". Okay, so this prompted me to do some psychological research on moods and mood disorders and I have found probable evidence that links bad moods or pessimistic outlooks to ill health and overall, an unhappy lifestyle.

I never preach to the choir about such things, and I don't often look to psychology to be a relevant source of answers (Me being a natural sciences student and all) but I can see how most of the studies have come to their conclusions. One could even blame me for being biased right from the get go because I am optimistic. Whatever the reason, I deal with life and emotions and anything that is thrown my way with a good heart and an open mind. Because let's face it, folks; The future changes faster than our mind reacts. Therefore, when you think something might be horrible or go wrong for you, it may have already panned itself out in the long run. The problem is, with a negative outlook, there's a good chance that you're not going to try to find out so the opportunity is already long gone.
