Hey all! Your slightly disgruntled and stressed out guild owner here with some good news!
Each week I will award some random goofy item, like tokens, or ink or bugs, to some random "lucky" members!! Most likely it will be done through a lottery type of deal with all names in a hat or maybe Xan and I will just finish a bottle of rum, throw scrabble tiles against the wall, and choose whomever the tiles spell out. Or the nearest facsimile. XD!!! This could be interesting if vodka and some kind of citrus juice is involved.
Each month, there will be 1000 gold awarded to the most prolific poster. And not just with spam or one word posts. They have to be substantial!! HAVE to be! Or Steve (Xan's Gwee) will end you.
Another 1000 will also be given to the most helpful member. This means someone who has helped around the guild. Maybe by designing art, or coming up with creative threads, or being a temporary mod for when Xan and I can not be around. Or even just helping other members.
Also, if there has been an exceptional member, whether in posting, in being helpful, generous, or just something that catches mine and Xan's eye, there will be a bigger gift. It could be a larger sum of gold, or could be a monthly donation item.
I will also try to run mini-contests; We have the always popular avi contest. Both best and worst dressed. Original quote contest. Best uke impression contest. And anything else our sleep deprived minds can come up with.
Nominations will be accepted.
Xan is exempt due to excessive lameness. And the fact I have his password and will be awarding the gold from his account. XD!!
