Hopefully my strength would kick in, as it typically does in serious moments of necessity and I'd do whatever I needed to, beginning with calling for help... eventually though I would fall apart.

Okay ummm.... well I'd want to find them because I would love to see them all scratched up for violating my cat like that!! If I didn't feel the cat had gotten them well enough, I'd probably try to shave them bald as well!!
