It is definately amongst the oddest movies I have ever seen. I was pretty much was either laughing or thinking "what the ********" the entire time. It was crazy as hell, but I liked it anyways XD. I was also thinking that it would be awkward as hell to watch it with anybody else, especially parents so I was glad I decided to watch it on youtube instead of renting it.

I watched it on the internetz late at night. It would be TERRIBLY embarassing if ANYONE found me watching it. Is it a porno? eek

I HAVE A STORY ABOUT THIS MOVIE

Okay, so, I heard that Bowie was naked in it and thought to myself "I must see it, I simply MUST" especially since he looks quite delicious with his Low-era hair. So, after an hour of scrabbling for pocket change so I could rent it from my video store, I watched it...
And realized that I had bought a censored version. Censored as in, completely nude girls up the wazoo, BUT NO BOWIE NAKED WITH A REVOLVER. D: I was so completely furious.
I have it on hold at the library on DVD UNCUT though, which makes me feel a bit better.

It was a very strange 70's movie. Stereotypically, it has some funkaaaaay music during sex scenes and dramatic moments, some weird, corny special effects and a less-than-simple to follow plot line.
However, it is Bowie at his best: gorgeous, and a really wonderful acting job, actually. He is just perfect for the part. I actually quite enjoyed it, even if I did miss out on a completely naked, gun-toting David Bowie.

Perhaps this is just a bit of blasphemy (and possibly an insult to Thin...I'm sorry!), but the Bowie nakedness...kind of wasn't as appealing as I'd have liked it to be, because he was very skinny. Too skinny. Like, "I'm worried about you" skinny. I wasn't very attracted.
Plus, Candy Clark totally ruined it for me by also being naked, and for screeching. And for being kind of gross and old.

I personally feel that the part where Bowie stirs his drink with a revolver, then runs his tongue along the barrel of the gun is OVER 9000 times sexier.

Now, if only Labyrinth had naked Bowie. That would be so okay with me, you have no idea.
