Until We Meet

Until we meet
My nights will be a little colder
My days a little shorter
My heart will beat a little less rapid
Until we meet
I know that my arms will be empty
My mind hurting from the constant thought of you
Minutes will seem to be hours
Hours will seem to be months
While months will seem like eternity
Until we meet
The stars in the sky will not affect me
with its gleaming sparkles of life

Until I am gazing at them in your arms
And the food that I eat will not be as fulfilling and nourishing
Until it is you that I share the my food with
And Until we meet
I will not feel whole
My world will seem incomplete
Until that wonderful day
When our eyes make first contact
And our bodies and souls collide in blissful whirlwind
The words will roll off my tongue like a sweet love song
"Hello, my love, I couldn't wait to meet you."

My Gift To You

I live through my dark existence
only to bask in your beauty
your eyes that shine like sapphires
your smile that brightens even my sad existence
I envy the wind that runs through your hair
that touches your lips
I long to touch you
to hold you in my arms but I cannot
for your heart belongs to another
so, I can only love you from afar
your friendship means more to me
than anything this world provides
but like an angel you touched my heart
in a way that I've never felt before
cause I've never known what love is until this day
I know that we are only friends
but my heart wishes it to be more
so I will still hope and dream
that one day I can feel your lips pressed to mine
to hold you in my arms and say, "I love you"

Can You See It In My Eyes?

You don't know how I'm feeling.
I have yet to vocalize
Desire deep inside me.
Can you see it in my eyes?

I tremble when I'm near you
Heat travels up my thighs
and I want you with an urgency
That I just can't describe.

Dare I reach out to touch you?
Do you think you'd realize
How much I want and need you?
Can you see it in my eyes?

I long to say, "I love you,"
But am scared of your reply.
Terrified like a child
I've become paralyzed.

The camouflaged emotions
Lead to pain and silent cries.
And yet I just can't tell you.
Don't you see it in my eyes?

Confessing through this poem
My dilemma summarized.
The feeling's quite cathartic,
But will lead to my demise.

As Days Flew By

The very first time I saw you,
Was special how we met.
You took me by complete surprise.
I knew my heart was set.

As days flew by, we talked again,
But you never seemed to care.
I tried my best to help you out,
By a favor here, or a favor there.

Although I made a fast approach,
Our friendship grew and grew.
I realized how deep I cared,
But the feeling I felt was new.

In time I became attached to you.
From a hug, I wouldn't let go.
I soon saw how close we were,
And the feeling was good to know.

For you, I wrote sweet letters and songs.
You were on my mind all day.
The thought of sleeping was nowhere near,
Unless I knew you were okay.

It hit me then, what I was in -
A unique and precious love.
For the person I said was only mine,
Was an angel sent from above.

The minutes without you turned into days,
And the seconds with you flew fast.
I could only wish to see you more,
And make each moment last.

The times I spent with you,
Were what made my heart complete.
I knew one thing for sure,
Without you, my future was obsolete.

And now, we love just the same,
As it doubles day by day.
I stare deep into your precious eyes,
Yet I'm still speechless to what I should say.

With you, I'm in a whole new world.
You bring out the best in me.
It's hard to picture you not there,
When you taught me who to be.

Yes, the road ahead gets hard,
When things may only seem rough.
But because you and I try so much,
We'll stay strong and get by tough.

Though problems may lie ahead someday,
And either of us could be right;
I promise to always be by your side,
And I promise my heart, so hold it tight.

And so, each night, beside my bed,
When there's only bright stars to see;
I pray that we may never give up,
And will always remain you and me.

From Friends To Lovers

Sometimes I feel sad and sometimes I feel blue
but whenever I see you, I'm as happy as can be
for you bring a smile upon my face
and a feeling of joy within my heart
you're like my sunshine in the morning
and my stars that glow at night
you're like the waves in the ocean
the cool breeze in the wind
like the call of the birds in the morning dew
like the sounds of beauty in the night
you see all of these things are of beauty and love
that's how I feel whenever you are near
for it was the passion and desire from both of us
that opened up the world for our eyes to see
for our love of each other will grow and grow
and our needs and desires will be more everyday
for a friend you once were and will always be
has turned into love as it should have been
so I want you to know as a friend and lover
that in my heart and arms you'll always stay
for our love for each other will never fade

"Grammar composed in Life"

Life starts with a capitalized Letter.
Life continues on with little commas,
Marking each event, as it goes along.
Semi colons placed to continue a long event.
Italics, Bold, Underlined words, in Quotations,
Around those that were memorable.
Misspellings happen, mistakes in Life happen.
Numbers show date, time, or a number.
Comma after Comma,
Day One to Today.
Oh count the Commas!
When Life begins, nobody knows when it shall end.
The “fearful” dot. The “fearful” period.
Shall stop the sentence of life.
For now, the commas keep marking,
The Italics, Bold, Underlined words, or Quotations
Mark the Memorable.
And the “period” awaits.

I am sitting under a roof, but with no walls
I carefully sit in the center, careful not to fall
Cold air, freezing rain, all around me
But no matter how cold I feel, I can’t forget…
The loving warmth you are still giving me

I shiver and my teeth chatters..
I kept warm by rubbing my legs faster
The cold took hold of my body
All except for my blood pumping heart

Goosebumps rise and disappear
Thoughts of you coming nearer..
I can’t seem to control my fears..
As my skin grows numb, and the cold reappears

I pull my knees close to my face
Wishing that I had a better day
Thinking of your beautiful face was overwhelming
Blocking you away from my mind,
Was even more heart breaking..

My cheeks grow red and numb from the cold
I start to understand my feelings, as I grow older
I love you..and my love could not be sold
I love you more than anything..as this paper folds..

ICY FEBRUARY

I watch the snow
Dance past my window,
Catching in the skeletal tree.
As an icy draft
Tickles my arm,
I realize a sad thought.
The winter outside is not
The only one;
A more brutal blizzard blows
In my very own heart and soul.

My love, my sweet,
Whose affection for me
Will never truly be,
You are my everything:
Every breath I take,
The tears I shed,
Even my soul.
Do not let me catch
The ever-closer creeping
Hypothermia.

Wrap me in your arms,
Warm my soul;
Brighten my life.
Be my spring
After a brutal winter.
Catch me before
I fall into the depths
Of my own hell.
Any happiness I feel is a lie to myself.
Depression is my addiction and disease.

Now I dread the
Upcoming holiday,
Knowing full well that
You will not, perhaps cannot,
Be my admirer.
Nevertheless,
Even in these stormy times,
Even when the storm has passed,
I will be yours.
It's an icy February.

I really enjoyed reading your poems....while I was reading them I began to cry. They really hit home for me and I would like to use one to put in a card for my now boyfriend of 2 in a half years. what you are to me is like a flower,
very beautiful, bright and cheerful.
Pleasant with a shimmering blaze.
You are pretty, calm and attractive.
Comforting and fantastic.
The only difference is, it belong to the meadows,
while u belong to my heart.
what u r to me is what u r in my heart.
