That's the spirit! Screw the ol' bastage! Ssscrew him, precioussss, he is filthy writersiz, filthy he is... uses up our good language ideas he does, preciousss~

But, if it's all stand-alone letters, I don't think it counts as a syllabary anymore. I'm pretty sure that at this point it degrades from syllabary to abugida (or alphasyllabary) since you aren't representing each unique syllable with a unique character. It might even become just plain old alphabet at that point...

I think this would make an awesome CONTEST for the guild...especially since it's summer. biggrin So I will pay, out of MY pocket (not guild funds, since nuestra capitan hasn't approved) 1k to whoever gets VOTED (vote on this thread when they're all in) to go up.

1 Month sound like long enough? June 17 - July 17, you have until MIDNIGHT EST to get them in smile (possibly slightly longer, just because I stay online until really freaking late)

For those that forgot, or didn't know, I threw the current one together some number of months ago. I still have all the individual frames, so i can just adjust the new images (and remove Vadeshkii) and presto.

Sure, just get me a clean black and white sample, preferably in GIF or PNG or even BMP format (JPG sucks for high contrast like black on white, even though BMP will make huge filesizes).
