I figure it would be a good idea to get some fresh conversation in this guild so here goes. Where do you see your life in 10 years? I'll start.

I see me teaching at the high school level and being frustrated by the stupidity of my students. I won't be making very much money but I'll have fun tormenting my kids as well as starting a few clubs such as a debate club. Socially I see myself married to my current girlfriend, Khaliah, and enjoying my time spent with her. She'll be an artist by then and our house will have all sorts of art done by her. We'll probably have two children one of which will be adopted. Probably going to be living in an apartment or a cheap house but oh well. We're both thrifty people. I see myself content with life and that's what counts.

Still a communist... : blaugh lol

Anyways, I actually would love to be a History/sociology/psychology teacher seeign as I am fascinated with all three subjects. I would have to say I would enjoy teaching Highschool no matter what the pay is but I would also like to become a professor at some point in my life (wishful thinking and not attainable in 10 years in my mind).

I will probably be living in an apartment in Boston or somewhere near a T station or bus route but not Dorchester if I can help it.( they just broke the record of the most number murdered this year, but they broke that last year as well).

I will probably still be in college or atleast taking courses constantly no matter what even if I am repeating some courses I already know in some community college it would suffice ( summer courses of course). I don't see myself able to stop wanting to learn about different governments economic system, human behavior, society etc no matter how much time passes.

I'll be 34... gonk

Should have my Masters in about two years or less... at which point I'll definitely move up to a more creative-based career. I've been thinking I'd like to design textbooks or perhaps multimedia programs for academic purposes... Discovery Channel-like things, maybe. In general, I'd like to use my artistic talents to make knowledge ascetically pleasing and attractive to teenage levels and up.... whatever that ends up being exactly.

I'll probably still be single, as I don't really plan on marrying. Nor having kids, though adoption isn't totally out of the question. I'm just not much of a family person. Pets are a must.

I'd like to travel too. I think I'd like to live a year in the UK or elsewhere in Europe since I never get to leave the US for anything major.... and I'd at least have that experience in full. I'm going to have to drag someone with me though... I'm too shy to ask for directions myself. >_>

An idea I've been kicking around with some like-minded friends for a while is the idea of putting together some pretty land with a small network of houses. Two of them plan on being veterinarians so they could have their practice there and keep animals around. Effectively a commune.... but that's longer than 10 years away, probably.

... I'm not exactly the most conventional person on the planet.

Sounds like an interesting plan for an interesting person. When I do go around flying across the country I'd like to meet you if at all possible.

No. Did I tell you I'm going to South America when I grow up?

Although I do want to live in England for some time.

I'll probably go back to Costa Rica someday. If my godfather (Otto Guevara) becomes president and makes it a more Libertarian nation, of course.

'Why?' to both of the locations, of course.

England is my second home to me (because I spent more time there than anywhere else).

And the only revolutionI can see coming soon is in South America.

You damn well better make it so I can grow Coca in Bolivia, though. And leave Costa Rica out of it. They don't even have an Army, they're so cool D=
