Steadfast: A dutiful young boil, he is resolute and dedicated in all that he applies himself too. Adamant and persistent, Garyx does not easily change his stance on things. Like a stone, with time and patience, he can be persuaded into reshaping his feelings and thoughts but it requires plenty of persistence. That being said, Garyx is reliable and will do anything within his powers to accomplish what he's set out to do. He prides himself on being dependable and capable of accomplishing his goals.
Fearless: Garyx does not scare easily, if at all really. He finds all things horrifying and scary to be funny as they should be! Life is full of surprises, and he loves being in the thick of it. He is brave and does not know the meaning of backing down. He is strong and proud and likes to show off. However, Garyx is often times reckless in the way he handles things. Charging in head first and thinking later, he is quick to take action. As he has such a tough hide, he feels like he can handle anything as it is.
Boisterous: Rowdy and energetic, Garyx often comes across as outspoken and impish. Clamorous, he isn't afraid to make demands and make his opinions known. He is a spirited gargoyle who isn't afraid to be hands and claws on matters at hand. No matter how complicated they may seem, he's up for a good challenge. He comes across as fairly jolly and doesn't necessarily know the meaning of personal space. Garyx is fairly in your face and stormy in how he presents himself.
Comtepetive: Who doesn't like winning? Garyx certainly does, he likes nothing more than to make competitions out of just about anything he can. It's disappointing for him when he loses, and he isn't good at taking his losses gracefully. Garyx is eager to push himself and come out ahead. He likes to be the best, and testing himself against others is a sure fire way to make sure he is always learning and growing.
Witty: Garyx is a rather jovial young boil, he enjoys nothing more than a good laugh. He is quick and inventive with his verbal humor. Garyx is a clever gargoyle and enjoys finding ways to be entertaining. He is quick to provide insight on a given situation and does so with a smile on his face.Garyx is good at timing things and tries his best to keep things light. His demonstrates are often sharp and possess a biting humor quality wise. However, his mannerisms are intended to be delivered in a playful manner.
Headstrong and confident Garyx loves a good challenge. His fearless nature makes him more likely than not to charge head first into a situation. He views himself as strong, and capable of handling himself in any situation he applies himself too. Equally, the gargoyle is dependable. Garyx will do whatever it takes to get what is needed to be done. Garyx doesn't care for being lazy, he finds it boring and would rather be active. He likes to maximize his time with fitting in as much as he can possibly accomplish. When realizing his interests he does not feel doubts and goes all out.
Ready to take risks while giving maximum effort, he will stop at nothing to accomplish what he sets out to do. It makes no difference whether he works with a team or alone. The only importance is whether or not he can accomplish what he needs to. However, he would never do something immoral to gain an advantage. He believes in playing fair and abides by stands and rules that are in place.
Being that he is rowdy and unafraid to speak his mind, he comes across as energetic and often times difficult to manage for those who prefer a more reserved or quiet conversation.
Impatience and mindlessness are his biggest enemies. Being inactive means he can not get everything on a given night completed. He tries to rush into things, and his efforts can be futile at times. Garyx doesn't seem to grasp the concept that sometimes things requires a delicate touch. His high spirits can unintentionally wreak havoc. Paying attention is key in avoiding hurting both himself and others around him. This is something Garyx is still learning to balance and understand. He approaches life with a witty sense of humor and is quick to jump in with his commentary as a way of enhancing conversations, or so he believes at least.
One of the gargoyles favorite pass times is finding new roosting perches to scope out landscapes. The higher the tower or building, is all the better in Garyx's eyes. He loves taking flight and scouting around, he finds the fact he can fly as a sense of freedom unlike any other.
Physical Description:
Garyx lacks any real hair to speak of, as he prefers to sport all of his stone hide in all its glory. He is made of gray-stone and has a mossy-like appearance to the coloration splotched across his body. His translucent white eyes are not blind by any means. Garyx also sports a pair of horns, he also has a tail and set of wings. Garyx stands at about 5'11".
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Garyx seeks to gain strength and knowledge of the world around him. While Halloween has always been his home, he desires to one day scale the fabled heights of human world buildings. The tallest buildings will one day be his to roost and perch on. The only way to do that, of course, is to successfully make his way through the Academy.

– His concept of what being a gargoyle comes in part from the classic animated Disney's 1994 Gargoyles (TV series), along with various other forms of the mythology surrounding the creatures.

Abilities
• Natural Ability:
Y1–Stone Skin:Garyx is able to make his own skin tougher than it already is. It is used primarily as a form of enhanced endurance. His rock-like skin makes most physical forms of damage less troublesome to the gargoyle. As he is still young he has yet to master this ability, but he can regardless harden his own stone hide at will.
• FEAR Ability:
Y1 -Stone Wall:Utilizing his own Fear, Garyx forms a magical wall around ones body as a form of a defensive barrier. This barrier appears as a shimmering gray-hue light of energy around the given target much like his own stone colored gray body. He prides in the ability to be defensible and has found a way to make his Fear suit this desire. His Fear is cast as an additional layer of protection on both himself and his allies. It all depends on how he channels and ultimately focuses his Fear.
Stone Wall (The Barrier)
By concentrating their Fear, disciples of this technique can materialize their Fear into a physical shield or Barrier. In combat, the damage is subtracted first from the Barrier then the protected's HP. This effect can be used to protect yourself OR another character.
Tier One: Dice: 1d4 This Dice: indicates how many turns the Barrier will last.
1-2: 1 Turn 3-4: 2 Turns
