Nictor Sabbat
And so, the easy part was out of the way. Nictor fussed and fidgeted until the vendor that did him up smacked his hands away and proclaimed him fabulous. He ended up grimacing when he was shoved out of the dressing area and was once again presented with the runway stage.
He remembered how being the center of attention just a few days ago reduced him to nerves more quickly than anything else at Bloodfest had this sweep, save perhaps that encounter with that very forward purpleblood. But Kolako was with him this time. She hadn't been feeling up to a whole lot this Bloodfest, had only come to help him out with his booth despite how she was feeling. She was the one that suggested he come back for those clips and Beehemoth had heartily agreed. Beehemoth couldn't come since he was a part of the booth's attractions, but Kolako did.
They were here now, there was nothing he could do about it now, no matter how much he felt himself shying away. He didn't want to disappoint Kolako or Bee. His lusus was expecting him to come back with some pretty clips and Kolako had, despite and reservations she had about crowds, determinedly brought him back to this booth.
His heart was pounding as Nictor approached the stage, stumbling when he remembered he had literally no idea what he was supposed to do. The stage was literally to bring attention to him and the makeover, the exact thing he hated. Why was he doing this. This was terrible, it's all bad. Bad bad oh so very bad.
Alarm bells were ringing louder at every pair of eye that turned his way as he started to flush in upset. The vendors were giving him the positive, seeming to like his look and performance, even if internally he was having a meltdown and a more distant part of him that wasn't completely losing it was wondering what was so great about him managing to walk across a stage like a normal functioning troll? Sure it was a bit of an achievement for him, but for anyone else, it was nothing special.
He glanced at Kolako a lot, trying to focus on her and see if she was at least having fun. That would help make this worth it at least. As long as one of them had a good time and it sure as heck wasn't him right now. Still, her presence helped keep him upright and walking instead of freezing. More heads turned this time, more than just the vendors seemed to be enjoying the show he was reluctantly putting on and without Kolako being there, he doubted he could take it.
When he got off the stage he instantly attached to Kolako's side, making a few false starts that never got far enough to figure if they were for a hug or a hand hold. He did not like being center stage like that and hoped he didn't have to do it again soon, let alone at all. He gave a shaky smile, the stress starting to unwind once it was over. At least now he could go collect those hair clips.

The Borrowed Brush. Tamiya hovered past it for a moment before deciding to stop by. At a distance, it seemed to be chic, with a minimal audience – beauty was something Tamiya had under control. She simply didn’t need help. But, she did prefer to canvas for rebel spotting duties, and it was a well known fact that saucy vixens were in abundance among the ranks of the rebellion.
As Tamiya scooted up to the booth, her expression began to change. A hemoanonymous troll was a red flag… And “benefit of the doubt” was not a frequently used word in her vocabulary. The other troll was green – or maybe teal? She consulted her posters and grimaced. Her memory of their horns was specific, and her depictions were very close to the booth owners. Body types, from what she could tell, seemed to check out – not to mention those goopy, thick eyelashes that the tealgreenblood kept flapping around. Her bloodpusher felt as though it was about to clench up and cease. But --! There was no way she could simply rush in.
On one hand, if these were the pair of rebels she was looking for, the teleporter could easily poof them into a crowd for easy escape (damn her). On the other hand, this could merely be a coincidence. Having only a gut feeling would do her no good, even though hemoanonymous trolls were teeth-grindingly frustrating to deal with and pretentious to boot. She cleared her thoughts, cleared her throat and zipped to the counter.
“Hello, deportment dames.” Tamiya began, her voice level and expression indiscernible. “I am here to deliver some posters so that you can keep an eye out for criminals at large – do not worry, I am sure you are safe.”
Tamiya began to hand out posters with depictions of various criminals. “Byakko Mawiya, noted rebel leader of the Phoenix Initiative and bubblebrightblooded scum – a despicable mutant. Vremea Everai, yellowblood and high ranking rebel in the Phoenix Initiative. Noted betrayer of one Odette Cygnet, high-faluting floozy and known slandertrumpet. May possess healing attributes. Rianon, member of the Phoenix Initiative, greenblood with teleportation-based abilities, lowly dirtwhelp previously established as a petty shitcriminal in the Four Fronds Hunting Grounds, lusus fortuitously deceased. And then these two… Wanted for assault, and this one for assault and espionage. Redblood and possible blueblood.”

After seeing Tamiya earlier, Zeylla had visited a couple booths, and was calmly making her way to visit Bellen and her friend Sirema when something twisted in her stomach, and the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. But she couldn't figure out, why did she suddenly feel like--
She heard her before she saw her, though she was most definitely less boisterous now. Zeylla came to a halt in the midst of the crowd, causing a small outburst from trolls around her, as she witnessed Tamiya again handing out posters. And to Bellen. Zeylla felt her stomach sink, she did not want Bellen or Serima to see her in such a light, but the deed was done. She watched from the crowd as the purpleblood finished her little speech about the posters, and waited for her to leave so that Zeylla could visit her friends, and perhaps get a closer look at those posters...
