GW dropped some more hints about the army over at Adepticon:

- The book will contain a full painting and tactics section

- The ships will be a first for Age of Sigmar: transports! Their warscrolls are apparently so massive that they had to use a small font to get it all in on a single page. The more models they carry the slower they become, though the Skyriggers can latch onto the ships and take up no transport capacity or induce a movement penalty.

- The book will feature several large Dwarf cities / factions, one of which the player can choose, which will give your army a certain boost or buff, not much unlike picking a Space Marine Chapter or Chaotic God alignment.

Liking where this is going, maybe more of the old composite codices that were more than rules, fluff and photos. smile

Most Age of Sigmar books so far have been high on background and visuals to make up on the limited nature of the free warscrolls. These are also still included, but the books are mostly there to give the players context and info about their faction of choice. This may also explain why these books are a bit thicker and more expensive than their 40k counterparts in some cases.
