 Whatever had made the alicorn filly think taking a cat to the beach was a good idea had long vanished, leaving Hybrid Rainbow with many regrets. However, if she left the cat at home, there would be no food left. Yet, a cat was a burden to all. It couldn't be let in the sand, because it would get sand everywhere, and it couldn't be let out near the water. And every so often, ********* would squirm in the filly's saddlebag, jingling like she was threatening to abandon her ride.
As a result, the young Phony seemed to be looming around the marketplace, where the concrete shifted into sand.
"Cat, yer useless!" Hybrid grumped at the feline. The filly leaned in to glare at the cat...
...only to get licked on the nose by said feline.
In retaliation, the alicorn filly snorted out of her nostrils at the manx cat.
"...what can I even do right now that would be fun with you 'round?" she asked aloud in a rhetorical manner.FrostyPeaches Quote summoning Treasure Hunter, please enter stage left! :B

TH put a hoof over his forehead and stared into the distance. His thinking soon was interrupted by the bokbokbok;ing of his hens. Why tehy were so attached to him, he had no idea. The stallion shook his head and grumbled under his breath mumbling something about poultry feed.
Trotting down the gangplank, he made his way onto the harbor and walked away from the ship towards the sandy beach full of babbins and old enoughs. Most of them waded into the shallow waters busy soaking up the sun's rays.
"Soon to be lobsters," he grumbled as he noticed the phonies rarely putting on sunblock to protect themselves.
TH kept on walking as Captain Shelley perched onto his back and weaved in and out of his mane. Nugget was rather active and decided to walk behind and between the pirate's legs, never once being stepped on by accident by her owner.
"Would you two be quiet?" he whispered as all he could hear was the bokbok's and screeching colts and fillies at the beach.

There were many phonies around, and many conversations that seemed to fill the air.
Yet a stray comment seemed to catch the filly's attention.
"Soon to be lobsters."
Her little yellow ear flicked at the phrase and she turned in the direction it came from. "Lobsters?" There were many ways she could interpret such a phrase, and in all honesty, the alicorn had no idea how to translate it.
Not certain which Phony had commented on the lobsters, Hybrid had no idea where to start asking. Yet something else caught her attention.
Somephony with not just one, but two chickens. Now, the filly might not have been the smartest phony out there, but she was pretty sure that chickens were probably a bit worse to have at the beach than a cat.
Trotting up directly to the owner of the chickens, the filly asked "Do ya always go to th'beach with yer chickens?" The filly's cat watched with wide eyes from her saddlebag nest, uncertain what to make of the squawky fatty birds.FrostyPeaches CHICKENS AND CATS AT THE BEACH, it is officially a party!

TH heard someone repeat what he just said. "Yarrr, lobsters. if ye stay out in the sun too long, you turn red like lobsters..."
The pirate looked around trying to decipher who it may be that was trying to converse with him.
At this rate he would never reach the market to buy some chicken feed.
A very bright pony walked up to him with a cat in her bag. He looked at her confused, "These clingy things?" he asked, pointing at the hens. "They seem to like me. I wanted to go to the market ALONE."
"What about you. ye taking yer cat to play at this beach?"

Hybrid never hesitated when it came to explaining any particular issues with her cat.
"I took my cat with me so she won't eat me out of house while I am away. Can't leave'er unsupervised."
The manx's ears flicked in mild annoyance at being outed so quickly, but she seemed to get over it as she continued to keenly observe the chickens.
Hybrid leaned down, trying to also get a good look at the one chubby bird as it seemingly waddled around. "...don'tcha have a coop or something for them?" The alicorn filly was certain she heard that chickens lived in chicken coops.
The cat suddenly reached out as one of the birds got closer, but clumsily tumbled out of the saddlebag, rolling into the sand and towards the Stallion's legs.
"Ah buck!" the filly snorted in annoyance at her cat.FrostyPeaches No prob cuz I was pretty slow responding back too xD

"Ah," he said, "mine are super clingy...they never leave me alone long enough to let me do things on my own..."
The chickens noticed the new faced cat and clucked.
TH chuckled and pressed lightly at his chicken without squishing her into the sand. "A coop? Perhaps, i should build one..."
He watched the cat roll against his leg, and just smiled. "Cute cat."
