	Helega's Tuber Shack "Heroic?" One of the clones blinked. He'd never been called that before. A shy smile bloomed and soon all of the clones were beaming. They started to re-enact their valiant efforts and poses they'd used to save Lorata from the corridor of a thousand bouncy balls. Nucleo on the other hand, was starting to sweat. "What do you mean, words with the manager?" The greenblood asked nervously. He didn't want to point out that the accident had occurred because Lorata had been walking backwards aka maybe kind of a slim teensy bit of it was her own fault. You couldn't just say something like that to a seadweller. But he also didn't want others to think he endorsed her causing a warzone of pain and then blaming others to get a discount or something. Urgh this was a tough spot. "Lorata, maybe we should just finish our shopping and then break for lunch?" The barista half suggested, half pleaded. 	Helega's Tuber Shack 6] Gain 1 medium present / Lose 1 hp You buy a pair of slippers that are designed to look like tubers. These better not show up in alt art. Whatever Nucleo had been about to say back would be forever lost. "Crappuccino!" A clone called out from behind the two trolls. Nucleo's eyes widened for what felt like the hundredth time in the past hour and he felt his bilesack filled with dread. It seemed that Lorata's concern for the building's safety code was not unfounded after all. This time, one of his clones had bumped into a rack and it was teetering over. There was no time to think, all he could do was jump and pay for it later. "Move!" Nucleo pushed Lorata out of the way before the rack could connect with her head. Falling to the floor, he crumbled underneath the shelves and merchandise. It hurt to be crushed like this but he also felt a wave of relief. After what'd happened in the Civisect space tower... Nucleo couldn't bare to see it again. He was sure there'd come a time and a place for him to sacrifice his clones once more in order to save or protect others but... tonight was not that night. They'd been so joyful and happy all night- touched by Lorata's gratitude. These were memories he wanted them to experience and have to hold on to. His clones were just as worth protecting as any other troll. This was his last thought before passing out in the heap of toys, taters, and tickle me lusus dolls. It was over just as quickly as it started, though, and the seadweller scrambled up from the floor and past rolling vegetables to make sure he was alright. Moving shelves at least was so much easier than concrete. "Nucleo?" Brushing as much of the merchandise off him as she could easily reach, she leaned over the greenblood to see if he was stirring. He was out like a light though, it seemed, even if it didn't look like he'd been hurt quite as much as she'd feared. She spared a moment to glance back and snap an order for anyone nearby to clear a spot on a cart for him, because she doubted there were any medics in the building and it was clear she'd have to take charge of getting him to one. Then she turned back with a huff. "It's not like I can thank you if you're sleeping, you know." But what he'd done had been ridiculously heroic, hadn't it? She considered it, glanced around at the heaps of vegetables and gawking bystanders, and then with a little shrug leaned down to plant a quick kiss on his forehead. "Good work."
