Bio: Leila‘s father was an abusive jerk. Her mother a selfish coward. Leila‘s mother left when she was eight. Only to return briefly when Leila was thirteen. The woman then killed herself within a few short weeks of returning. So once more Leila was left with her abusive father. Once more she had to withstand the constant angry violent explosions.

At eighteen Leila moved away. Heading off to college. Far away from her father and she was happy for it. Once on her own she had to fend for herself. This was somewhat new to her. Despite her father‘s many flaws he had always supported her financially. (He refused to support her once she left.) So she had to take on many different little jobs. Not hard given she seems to know a little about a lot of things. Her family ran an inn and her best friend‘s father was a repair man, his mother had her own catering service. So she had a few different jobs growing up.

Leila had known about her ability for a long time. She just had never knew how to make it ‘work‘. It was easy to ignore because it did not affect her negatively. That was until her powers kicked up a notch. It went from the quiet constant vision of people and what was happening with them to the constant bubbling flow of visions and noises. She sees places and people. Events. Leila can and has only assumed it washer job to help these people so she‘s been trying to focus one these people. Piece together enough about them to go to them and help them. She hopes once this task is done they will get out of her head.

Little does she know it doesn‘t work that way. She is Clairvoyant but has no idea what that is or means. She doesn‘t even know that is what she is. She initially thought she was going crazy when these powers really manifested when she was fourteen. It actually lead to a suicide attempt. That and of course her father‘s ‘love‘.

She was hospitalized and medicated. They labeled her as a schizophrenic. Which she eventually found out was the problem with her mother. She wasn‘t the monster Leila had always believed her to be. This devastated and hurt Leila more then anything. She can heal people but could not heal her Mom. Had not even known there was something really wrong.

Leila was working at a hospital. Candy striper. Nothing big or impressive. That was her cover. She actually was using her powers to heal patients. She can only assume that was how she was discovered. All she knows is one night she was on her way back to the dorms when a pair of men jumped out of a van and threw her in. Next thing she blacked out and woke up naked and strapped to a cold metal examination table. An IV and all sorts of monitors hooked up to her. Again she blacked out and woke up in these really ugly thin hospital type pajamas in a concrete room. Every so often she blacks out again and wakes up in that examination room with a Doctor present. Then she blacks out again and is back in that room. She has no clue where she is, how long she has been there or when she will be free again.

One the bright side…those people she was seeing and hearing. A lot of them are here. Others seem to arrive fairly frequently. They are all like her. Different. In other ways though. Some frightening, some amazing, some just plain weird.

Soul mates that don't need a sexual relationship to prove anything.

He and Leila moved away from their families. Happy for the freedom. He is from a strict military family and they were hell-bent on him enlisting. He of course had other plans. He wants to be an actor. So….HELLO NEW YORK!

Things weren‘t going so bad really. He was getting small parts in most plays. He even got two commercials and a role as an extra! His other job….the less glamorous one that helped him pay his bills and share of the rent. Phone sex! It was acting….just in a less…obvious way.

Anyway things were good. Not bad at all. No need to use his freaky powers. They were both happy and safe. That is….until Leila went missing one night! Since then he has been going crazy trying to find her. He knows it‘s bad. Very bad. She would never just up and leave him without a word. He believes her disappearance has something to do with the people she was ‘seeing‘. So he is using her dream diary to try to get some leads as to where she went off to, Only problem it seems the people are disappearing as well!
