Nightvine once again set out into the night. This time, however, he was even more well prepared than he'd ever been in the past. He'd learned from past mistakes and made enough friends along the way so that he'd learned a few more tricks for traveling in the night.

Despite what people thought, nothing about the night was calm or peaceful. That was a diurnal perspective. The world was buzzing, chirping, and humming with night creatures and Nightvine, equipped with a red headlamp and pencils, was cataloging them as he went. He was a night specialist, a naturalist, and a gardener.

He had learned all about mushrooms, and that had provided him with enough money to buy his supplies. He had tapped into a resource that not many others had also drew from.

So out Nightvine went with his new tools in hoof, ready to take on the not-quite-so-still of the night.
