"Last one in's a rotten egg!" Leeroi shouted atop a tall rock, throwing his excess winter clothing down in a brief moment of foresight. Clad in only his boxers and character band-aids that would surely be ruined, he turned to face the shallow waters of the Alternian oceanfront. He wouldn't admit it, but he paused for a moment before jumping into the freezing water.
He hit the water with an unceremonious splash, somewhere between a jump and a bellyflop. It was clumsy, to say the least. The cold hit Leeroi immediately, mixed with the sharp pain of his clumsy entry. "********!" he couldn't help but shout, a bit of saltwater getting in his mouth.
He could have floated easily in the shallow water, but he instinctively flailed his arms and kicked his legs in an attempt to find a way to stand. Eventually, he was able to throw his weight closer to shore where his heels could touch the ground. Trying to disguise his heavy, panicked breathing, he waited for his friends to join him in the freezing water.

Leeroi was the first to jump. Of course. If he hadn't, Guo would've happily shoved the boy in. Would've been satisfying. Oh well. No matter what, though, Leeroi was always a good standard to follow. Also, someone to learn from in Guo's own stead. Sure, he could jump in first himself, but now he knew how deep the water was, and had a better idea of temperature. So far: shallow and not cold enough to die on entry. Good to know!
With that, Guo followed after, personally unconcerned if he managed to land nearly on top of the other blueblood. He'd taken his clothes off, of course, down to his underwear just as much as Leeroi. Unlike Leeroi, Guo didn't pause. He accepted his fate in full, though practically screamed as he felt his decision envelope his body.
Frigid. Not just his fingers or face as would happen when he wasn't bundled up to Hogdad's satisfaction, but everywhere. No wonder Leeroi cussed. It was awful.
Guouli loved it.
"Doesn't matter when you jump in, bro. You still smell," he said through a forced laugh, splashing Leeroi.
Ah, and they had one more joining them. That newbie he'd seen at the brawl booth. Leeroi was always making friends. Guo would just have to see if it wasn't another interloper like that redblood. Or, maybe, someone actually like the stupid blueblood he spent so much time with.
