Ship's Log: The Sea of Stars (Think the Treasure Planet movie, steampunk-ish fantasy ships in space biggrin)
This RP will take place on the planet Lasheron, its small moon Vater, and the surrounding small bits of outer space between them.
Captain Ravaata and her crew of the Night's Hangman are a rising threat in the local star system. The recently escaped slave turned pirate captain has been haunting the area and rallying fellow ex-slaves to her banner. Already Vater's surface is decorated with the husks of ships that dares challenge her ship in combat. Ravaata's goal is to end slavery on the planet of Lasheron and free as many slaves as possible so none will have to suffer as she and her mother did.

Captain: Ravaata Maneater
Name: Ravaata Maneater Age / Gender: 27 - Female Race: Orc (with crude cyborg attachments similar to those of Long John Silver in Treasure Planet movie minus the eye). Homeland: Skylands Occupation: Privateer/Pirate; Captain of the Night's Hangman (previously known as the Legacy), a 2-masted flying/sailing vessel traditionally classified as a Brig.
The Night's Hangman: (similar in looks and style but more rundown and pirate like)
Personality: Unlike most orcs Ravaataa is calm and cunning, her years in slavery training her to mask her emotions. As well as learning to mask her emotions, Ravaata grew up spending what little free time she had sneaking into the house's library and reading the large collections books amassed by her master (unknown to him of course). This early (and unexpected) education gave her a leg up in life allowing her to remain three steps ahead of everybody else.
Weapons: Familiar with the mass majority of man-made weapons and their like, Ravaataa only carries large knife (sheathed at her hip) but is not beyond biting people (gotta make use of those handy orc tusks ^^). Known to only members of her crew and the occasional survivor (left that way to spread her reputation), her mechanical arm contains a pistol and cutlass as well as its default hook.
Bio: Born in the Sky City to an orc maid owned by a wealthy merchant family, Ravaata grew up a slave. Her mother sheltered as best she could (as any mother should) but the time soon came when Ravaata had to earn her due working alongside her mother. What little free time she had, Ravaataa spent sneak about the house's library and reading the large collections books amassed by her master. As she grew and blossomed into a young woman, she overheard her masters plans to sell her once her mother died.

Appearance: Ravaata Maneater is a green skinned female orc of average height (5' 9") with shoulder length black hair (held in place by a bandanna) and an athletic build to her body. She wears a sleeveless trench-coat and loose fitting white linen shirt, its low cut V threaded by a piece of leather string but still revealing a generous of her cleavage. Her breeches are a tattered red and white striped pair help in place by a variety of belts and sashes. Having only one leg, Ravaata makes an effort to try every shoe she might fit from crew of captured vessels. Her damaged left tusk has long since been fitted with a gold cap while a handful of gold and silver earrings decorate her right ear.
Other info: Flies her version of the Jolly Roger as many pirates do; this one personalized to identify the Night's Hangman as soon as she raises her colors. twisted
Name: Maim Stormhorn Age / Gender: 21 - Male Race: Minotaur (Think Dragonlance kind with feet rather than hooves) Occupation: Privateer/Pirate; First Mate of the Night's Hangman (previously known as the Legacy)

Bio: Abducted during a slaver raid on his home/clan in the Storm Peaks at the age of fourteen.
Relationship: Claims to be single (in secret, Ravaata)
Appearance: Maim Stormhorn is a brown furred male minotaur of average height (for his race) (6' 6") with medium length brown hair, short loosely braided beard with forward thrusting horns, and an warrior build to his body. He wears a sleeveless and loose fitting grey linen shirt, its V cut torn lower to reveal the large medallion about his neck (and sometimes the scar atop his heart). His trousers are simple well fitting leather pants left over from his days in the gladiator pits held in place by one large belt (with another crossing his chest for holding his weapon). His body is heavily scarred from his years as a gladiator (nobody escapes untouched) but surprisingly both horns remain intact. A piece of his left ear is missing where someone bit it off. His sole possession remains a hand sized medallion with the Stormhorn clan mark emblazoned into it.
Other info: Abandoned his true first name after tainting it with the blood and gore of the arena. However, Maim remains prideful of his clan and where he came from. Crowd nicknamed him Maim due to his style of fighting and strange code of honor. Maim never outright killed his opponents in the pits, thats not to say they didn't later die of their wounds but he refused to deal the killing blow (think batman, brutal but never kills). This moral code remains with him to this day, tempering his actions and more often those of his Captain. Due to accident with above mentioned medallion, mirror image of clan mark is branded into Maim's flesh near his heart.
Chef: Myr Junsian
Name: Myr Junsian Age and Gender: 20, Female Race: Lunar Giant
Occupation: Chef of the Night's Hangman History: This nine foot seven inch cutie was born on the nearby moon, in the lunar giant race. Her race was born on a small island that was slowly being destroyed due to a rare crystal being mined by empires in an excessive amount. While out picking food she was captured and impregnated by a male from a different tribe of lunar giants who later sold her into slavery, however she was freed by captain Ravaata. After being rescued Maim taught her how to fight and use her size and strength to her advantage. Once removing the empire's presence from the small moon, Ravaata established a safe house for the slaves who declined her offer to join the ship's crew. Myr joined the crew as their chef as she'd developed a knack for it as a little girl, though parts of the ship had to be renovated to fit her size and even larger pregnancy. Despite being a bit of a soft creampuff, she owns Ravaata her life and loyal to the core.

Abilities and/or Weapon of choice: Giant's strength: "Despite a cream puff and more gentle nature, Myr exhibits the great strength common among giants and knows how to use it. Getting hit by her when she isn't holding back is like getting hit with a train."
Titan's Anchor: "Due to Myr's strength she uses an anchor as a weapon with a large chain, which she can use to help pull ships closer to her captains ship. At close range it acts like a big club with a sharp end."
Partner/Lover: None (however is bisexual) Pregnant? Yes If so, how many and how far along are you? Twelve months (out of a twenty-four month pregnancy) with an unknown amount.
