Kagerou's knocking would be met with silence. Silence just long enough to encourage her from leaving. Though in the time said thought would turn into actual footsteps the door knob moved eerily slowly as the door cracked open to reveal a single eye...bloodshot heavy breathing and the faintest corners of a medical mask. "I'll meet you there...soon...I still have to..prepare...more." Kumotake's voice sounded winded like one who was out of breathe or one who had exerted a lot of stamina. Prepare. The word carried a complexity to it that piqued curiosity. Though Kagerou would likely pick up a familiar scent wafting from the crack of the door. Iron, metallic, like that of pennies. She'd need only to look down to see traces of dark red trying to escape. In such the event Kumotake noticed himself and regretted that his doorway was not carpeting but tile with the red seeping into the tiny speckled canals running through like veins.
It was at this point Kumotake would attempt close the door hurriedly as if in a panic if Kagerou choose to use her own strength in retaliation to the sudden motion she'd find it easily giving way as if there was hardly any resistance at all. There would stand a Kumotake with sunken bloodshot eyes and a look of disgust as if to say 'how dare you' whilst at the same time averting gaze as if to say 'don't look at me'. His chest barren, with scars and deformation galore in a sickening sight but it would not be the old scars that stood out, it would be the fresh wounds still vibrant crimson. Three linear wounds forming an X with half a - through the X's center. Each one deeper than the last and the third clearly having lacerated the 'meat' in the center although the deepest it was the shortest showing clear signs of mid interruption and it was this wound that carried the greatest threat as Kumotake's room stained with blood showed he had already lost a lot and still was in the process of losing more face clearly growing paler. Sukoso though unable to be seen from behind a counter and suppressed by a cloud of black was making definitive hisses correlating with urgency.
However, if her reaction time was far too slow she'd be greeted with the sound of a turning lock. Said locking sound be followed with the thud of a Kumotake's back now leaning against the door and later slumping to further prevent forcing in. Though if not noticed then what would be the equivalent of a small river of blood would be pooling outwards the door.

Kagerou was immediately reminded of the Halloween nightmare when she saw Kumotake's blood shot eyes through the crack. Even as this mostly harmless thought crossed her mind, though, her nose had picked up on a not so harmless scent. Human blood. There was no way she was going to mistake that scent. She had smelled enough of it in the medical wards of the Sero crisis and when she saw Miki lying on the table in the kage's office. Scent alone convinced Kagerou to jam her foot into the crack of the door, and as she did so, her eyes, which had looked down to make sure her foot did not miss its target, saw the seeping blood. The medic nin's eyes grew wide and did not move from the slowly growing trail of blood as her mind pieced together the clues. Her foot kept the door open, and unless Kumotake slammed the door hard enough to break her foot, she wouldn't feel anything through the thick skin of shock and disbelief that covered her mind.
Kagerou held back the desire to bust the door open.
Kagerou held her tongue and the various things it wanted to say, most of it mean but also well-meaning.
Kagerou focused on the simple things, the little details to the actions she needed to take.
Kagerou's hands, originally shaking, calmed the tremors, and with a steady touch, she carefully opened the door. The force behind them, Kumotake's waning strength, easily gave way to her firm push. The face she presented when she surveyed the damage Kumotake had done to his own body was expressionless.
"This wasn't what I meant," she murmured as she knelt beside Kumotake, closing the door after she entered and turning on the lights if they weren't already on. The mess of blood that had already spilled made it hard to see the real damage. Although, the shape of the cuts were very much visible. Without the time to gather various supplies to help her conserve chakra, like alcohol and cotton balls to clean the wound, Kagerou began with Kiyomaru [Cleanse] to sanitize her hands and the wounds. The jutsu also cleaned a minute amount of the blood. Then followed Shindan [Diagnosis] to diagnose the depth of severity of each injury. What she discovered, caused a muscle in her cheek to tense for a moment before relaxing into a state of neutrality. The cuts were so deep that she was going to need to use the Major Healing Hands technique, and she did, closing even the deepest of Kumotake's wounds with the eiseijutsu.
There was a rhythm to Kagerou's work throughout: hand signs, execution, results, repeat. Not a word was spoken that wasn't needed, and her emotionless face did not change. That is, until she was finished with tending to Kumotake. Once she finished, she looked Kumotake straight in the eye, remembering the meaning behind the faces he showed her when she barged in against his will, . She didn't even know where to start putting herself into Kumotake's shoes, but she did try. In the end, when she made eye contact with Kumotake, she was no more wiser to why he would hurt and damage himself except for the reason he gave, that it was to help someone, namely herself and the Yamanaka she had befriended on the spot. Kagerou's mouth trembled, trying to smile and give Kumotake some comfort, but there was no way Kagerou could force a smile in this kind of situation.
"I'm going to say what I'm thinking," Kagerou announced the best idea she could come up with, "Then you tell me what you're thinking," which was basically a roundabout way of saying, "Explain yourself and your nonsensical actions in a way I can understand." She paused, giving the illusion that Kumotake had a choice. Except, he didn't. Regardless of what he said, Kagerou went on, "First, call your bugs back. What were you thinking, restraining Sukoso like that? I know that there's a lot that Sukoso doesn't really understand, but the concept of remaining healthy isn't exactly complicated. Don't you think- No… I'll stop there…" For a moment there, Kagerou's anger got the better of her, anger at Kumotake for hurting himself. The pitch, speed, and volume had gradually risen with her heightened emotions only to disappear with the first utterance of "No" that signaled her return to calm. "Second," she was done with the previous matter, but that didn't mean she had said everything she wanted, "All the help I needed from you was for you to come to the hospital and learn. You didn't need to know eiseijutsu or have any previous experience. Everyone has to start somewhere, and a good part of the hospital staff actually doesn’t have the ability to use chakra, much less eiseijutsu. Last of all,... why? Why did you hurt yourself? I... can't understand no matter how I try but I want to help." There, now she was done speaking, and one hand motioned towards Kumotake in a sort of "your turn" gesture. [8/20 cockroach armor]

Low-grade fertilizer yields crops in 1 week. High-grade fertilizer reaches a new level of fast and yields crops in 4 days. (Post-acceptance note: I just realized that there is an Evergreen religion in this guild. I did not mean for this to be a religious PA in any way. It's just botany. I hope that's not a problem.)
What was that sound? Was it laughter? Faint as Kumotake yielded to Kagerou's approach and sat on his bloodstained bed besides the journal of which he had lent her. This was after all his intent wasn't it? To have Kagerou and the Yamanaka gain experience by tending to his wounds. Yes, Kagerou was skilled in treating the wounds of the body but Kumotake had more than just simple lacerations. His wounds resided somewhere else. Scars of the mental variety where a scalpel and healing hand could not reach. As Kagerou remained silent and expressionless Sukoso watched in silent complacency beneath the cloud of which had lightened ever so slightly. When the good doctor was finished beneath a mask bearing traces of red Kumotake settled, the jig was up. So he stood from the sitting position on his bed bearing his wrist outwards almost wistfully as the Kikaichu returned to their host and immediately given freedom as if to call out Kumotake's stupidity the spider produced a thread like needle of electricity which was spat out causing an incredibly light graze across his cheek which in turn caused the mask to fall off. "I suppose that was deserved..."
His face now exposed the slight cut upon seemed to be healing itself. However, this exposure did nothing to make clear the enigma that was Kumotake. He'd dignify Kagerou with a response, one tainted with self loathing. "and I suppose I'll answer your questions in said order." With Sukoso's spite having been blown off what lay on the floor was the remnants of the incriminating kunai. Sukoso would thusly then immediately take it into his custody despite the fact it was long out of Kumotake's reach where the spider was going with was anyone's guess. "To answer your first question, he would have stopped me. That's why. I'd thought it was rather self explanatory." His voice devoid of concern for the self, additionally coming of as partially insulting, it was as though he were treating the situation as a common occurrence. His eyes transfixed on his companion who faded into the shadows.
"Second." Kumotake rose two fingers beside him and still neglected to return eye contact with Kagerou. "What is a doctor without a patient?" The same words he'd said in his delirium. What other explanation could he provide as to why he insisted on deciding that self-mutilation was a viable way to assist the two medical nin. It spoke for the teens mental state but then when it seemed like Kagerou wouldn't be getting anything useful out of the boy he turned to face her. "Lastly, why did I injure myself in such a way?" He spoke as if trying to find an answer himself but what he said afterwards would come to be difficult to understand. "because it's how I know I'm still alive."
Kumotake clenched his fist and then placed an open palm on the scars and deformations decorating his body. The ones that were all of notable age encouraging Kagerou to take a closer look from her position. "When you want a kikai to be able to survive a toxin, you poison the colony. The ones that survive will eventually become immune. Eventually the poison means nothing to them. The same goes for people." Kumotake speaking cryptically using Kikaichu as an example went on, not a break or stutter in his speech though now it carried a morbidity behind it. "Some may even grow to rely on the poison, and some may even come to enjoy being in its presence." Kumotake would now avert his gaze and attention to see Sukoso making his return the kunai nowhere in sight. "Pain is my poison. As long as I bleed I am alive. If I die. Then I was never deserving to live in the first place." Kumotake looked outwards towards the window where the other parts of the Sero could be seen as if there was something somewhere of great importance. "If the strong can fall prey to the cold grips of death..." Suddenly Kumotake would turn away from the window and back at Kagerou. Though his expression was certainly not one to be expected as his face bore a smile similar to those of Kagerou's with the next works spoken with an out of place joyous tone. "then what point is there in struggling for the weak?"

At one point during Kumotake's answers, Kagerou stood up from the bloody floor. The armor she had accidentally donned conveniently shielded her clothes and skin from the risk of any blood stains, and the smooth surface of the carapace did well in letting the blood drip off without a trace. Her face looked grim with her lips pressed together tightly and eyes whirring through a myriad of confused emotions as she tried to sort through the answers given and the laughter… Was that laughter she had heard? Why the hell would he be laughing in this sort of situation?
Speechless wouldn’t quite describe what Kagerou felt right this moment. However, it was certainly a good way of putting her reaction. There was so much wrong with what she had just heard. Her gut told her it was wrong. Her mind told her it was wrong. Still, she did not know where she was supposed to start her response. All she knew was that when Kumotake turned to her with a bright, peaceful smile, Kagerou honest to gods and spirits felt like slapping him. She was that angry, but she didn't hit him. She held back and simply stared straight into his smile with her straight-lipped look.
There was no way Kagerou could simply accept that last sentence Kumotake uttered, but there were so many other problems, that necessity dictated that she try to tackle the biggest and most obvious first. In this case, Kumotake's apparent need for self-harm. it was a sign of her respect for the late Mizukage that Kagerou thought of him in a time like this when she was struggling to find a "right answer." She tried to see Kumotake's actions in the aforementioned light, judging it in a way she thought unbiased. However, she just couldn't bring herself to accept what Kumotake did to himself. It didn't matter what he said or what reasons he gave. No amount of convincing, even from herself, was going to let Kagerou be just okay with this kind of self-mutilation.
Kagerou knew before speaking that she would not be able to fully hide the outrage and, shamefully enough, disgust she felt. What was more, it was obvious from the way Kumotake spoke that he was already so entrenched in his way of thinking, that words were likely to do nothing to dent what he believed was right. As she was in no shape to talk it out and he didn't look receptive to change, Kagerou limited to the one thing she could confidently speak on.

That was why what she said next was specifically about those two, even though no specific mention was made of them, "It is up to you what you decide to use your strength on, but… you know… Jack-sama died to protect the village, weak and strong alike. Shadow… Shadow died because there was no one with the strength to save him, but I believe that the weak can one day become the strong, and when that day comes for me, I intend to use my strength like the late Mizukage, to protect." If the hurtful things Kumotake ended with were just his way of grieving for Jack and Shadow, then this was familiar territory for the girl who waited at the sides of numerous others in the wake of the Sero's destruction, waiting for them to move on from the tragedy and return to some semblance of normalcy.

Fear of death is good. Never undervalue or life or its worth. Fight for it with tooth and claw, but always understand that death is never far away, and for people like us, it's even closer than most. If you don't like that the people you know are always teetering at that brink and that some will be lost to it much sooner that you would have liked, then you have two options: do something about it or quit and become one of the protected rather than the protectors." It was an ultimatum Kagerou had heard ever since she was young. She was sure Kumotake had also heard something similar. More than anything, what she had just said was intended to be a reminder. At least, she hoped it was a reminder. It would be too pitiful if Kumotake had chosen this particular occupation without knowing the intimate relationship it had with death.
After letting the words hang in the air for a little, Kagerou held out a hand for Kumotake to take so she could help pull him up. "You're probably tired of hearing this already," the green-haired medic moved on even though she was still unable to smile, "but if you want to do something, then I suggest learning some basic medical procedures as a good start. Any registered Kirigakure ninja can learn and get certified at the hospital if they take the missions there. Don't worry, there's plenty of work to go around." [10/20 cockroach armor]

Past the starting two, she must spend a total of 5(n-3)+10 energy split evenly between chakra and stamina for each additional target; n = number of targets. His strength? What strength? A half smirk as he let Kagerou finish her version of what was essentially a scolding. She couldn't hide the fact she was upset with him even with that faux smile of hers. Something could be said for the girls patience though, he'd sworn he would have been on the the aft end of a sore face. The weak becoming strong? The weak are born weak and no matter how hard one tries there will always be someone stronger waiting to contest your strength. Even if one were to attain god hood levels of power what would he have then but a throne with nothing to rule, and should he rule what method aside from an iron fist would he have. For the time being though Kumotake would concede accepting the hand that was given to him as he stood his back still making a irredeemable crack. Now looking down on Kagerou due to their height difference the following words came out of his mouth.
"Though I know it was not your intention. The way you worded that one sentence, made it sound as though the protectors aren't in any need of protection themselves." then glances around the room came and Kumotake only just now realizing the mess he had made with his bloodstains. Clearly upset with himself " Tch..." Looking back to Kagerou he'd move past her towards a night stand, next to it a drawer. The drawer in which he opened contained clothes although his opening of it produced a dread of what may have been inside but so as not to make Kagerou left out he continued to feed her closure on his thoughts about the subjects she had brought up.
"Let me tell you something my PARENT drilled into me. A life that's spawned or indulged in countless sins is a life that does not belong in this world. A life that only exists to bring misfortune and death unto others. What do you think a life like that is worth?" The emphasis he put into one word filled with disgust and contempt similar to earlier. Kumotake would then signal the closing of the drawer having removed a fresh set of clothes. While his wounds were indeed healed for the most part he himself was still drenched in blood and smelled of old pennies. "I'm going to take a shower, feel free to go on without me." Kumotake would make his way towards what could be the bathroom from the nightstand if Kagerou had a response to anything Kumotake had said she would have to put it together quick as some nagging aura said he would not wait for a response. If she did respond fast enough whilst his hand was on the knob of the door, he would however listen then, as it would be rude not to.
Either or, before entering the bathroom to bathe. Kumotake said one more thing. "Since you tried to appeal to fact I'm a ninja. If I died on the field, or in this bedroom. Nothing would change." The knob would then turn fully as he entered and the sound of a shower turning on echoed through the small room. There Kagerou would be left with his eight legged companion who seemed transfixed with checking every nook and cranny and every corner of the room for anymore sharpened instruments and the journal still resting on the bed its corners now a darker red.

The emblem of a jagged spider sewn on the backsides while the palms contain what appear to be the equivalent of small hole like pores. The gloves when worn treat the wearer's hands as if they were complex for interactions with ninjutsu. The gloves allow interaction with chakra structures and the pores on the gloves themselves can produce threading from each fingertip. The threading can then attach to structures allowing them to be manipulated by pulling them. These threads are not unlike chakra threads in strength but are clearly visible. When finger tips are brought together the produced threads can fuse into one leading to garrote wire like executions.

Kumotake's smirk bothered Kageoru, but it did not cause her to stumble. She listened carefully to Kumotake's side, her ignorance of personal bubbles showing in how she did not move to give him room after he stood up. She did know about modesty, though, and after assuring herself that Sukoso had his eyes on his tamer, Kagerou turned around to face away from Kumotake when he opened his drawer. Even after hearing the close, she did not turn, her mind too busy mulling over what Kumotake had said next.
She would have liked to think about it more, but she felt that this conversation was at its limit. If she didn't say something soon, then Kumotake was going to end up having the last word, and that just didn't sit well with her for reasons. "Hey!" Kagerou turned to face Kumotake as she heard the door knob turn and tried to buy a little time, "I think it's worth being saved," she hadn't managed to buy any time, but she still said what she needed to before Kumotake entered the bathroom. There was a little more she would have liked to add, for clarification, but she was cut off. In the end, Kumotake got the last word before ending the conversation by escaping, Kagerou's opinion, into the bathroom. A part of her badly wanted to shout at him from the other side of the door. However, her civilized majority restrained herself.
Instead, she looked over to Sukoso and then the familiar notebook. Noting a change in the color, she wondered, . Worried that the notebook might be a darker red because it was soaked in blood, which could lead to damage, Kageoru approached the bed while pulling her bells from her inventory. After a quick touch of the corners and a flip through the contents, she confirmed that this was the journal she had read earlier this day--how long ago that seemed now--and the stains on the edges were indeed stained by blood.
With a wave of her belled right hand, Kagerou cleansed the book of blood and a good bit of dirt with the Kiyomaru technique. she decided as she put the book down, her ears picking up the continued sound of running water, Taking a posed stance with one foot placed in front of the other, Kagerou extended her right hand a full arm's length in front of her. She drew in a breath through her nose, raising her arm in preparation. The bells that rang with the movement cast a cleansing jutsu, Kiyomaru again, on the room. Then the breath left her body through her mouth, and with it, her arm came down, bells ringing Kiyomaru into activation once more. Two casts, and each cast able to target two targets more without extra effort, should have been enough to clean the room of blood and grime. From a cursory glance, the room looked clean enough, but Kagerou wasn't going to stay to be certain. She figured that her visit had outlasted its welcome.
After a long, drawn out breath, she finally managed a return of her real smile. It was time to move on as she moved out. With a farewell, "Bye Sukoso," accompanied by wave and smile, Kagerou left Kumotake's room. [10/20 cockroach armor]

Being saved? Naive. The kind of naivety produced by someone who had yet to walk in the same shoes. She'd try to save the serial killers? The child abusers? The rapists? The *****? Scum of the earth, it was clear she hadn't come face to face with someone who had no intentions of helping or an intention to be helped. Kumotake could only wonder what would become of her should she actually run into someone of the sort as the water slid down his hair and back. Steam building up he'd stare at the reflection of himself in the knob used to adjust the temperature. Seeing himself reminded him of someone. Nozomi. Perhaps the reason why he related so much with her was that she to was scorned by her parents...then the reflection took the shape of someone else. Noemi. Who also shared in the same plight. Being turned away by ones family, being treated like garbage by blood. Kagerou...she didn't have any of that her reflection appearing blurry.
Kumotake spat almost spiteful. When the two of them first met. In the office long ago. Where Sukoso had almost succeeded in his intercourse endeavors. He thought she would be able to understand him. It was foolish to think simply giving her a book filled with illegible scrawling and hidden passages would be enough. ...ick..Why did he have this desire for her to actively seek out understanding him. The world was not that simple. People are not inherently psychic. Had he just told her mayhaps then...no. It would have been a waste of time. As it was now.
Turning off the shower the reflection returned to his own. Kagerou. It's impossible for her to understand. She's a goody two shoes, one of those gross people that think 'everyone' can be saved. Sickeningly positive, out of touch with reality. Opening the shower door, head filled with spite for the green haired girl who was clearly talking out of her a** he'd look up towards the fogged mirror brushing it with his hand. Though the reflection this time he saw was not his own, not Nozomi, not Noemi, not Kagerou, but of his mother. Kumotake reeled back as if having just seen a ghost but then in that second it was back to his own reflection again scars and all.
A good look in the mirror now Kumotake felt the freshly healed wounds and sighed. "Tch, maybe I'm being to harsh...on her." thinking now about the words she said. How she wanted to 'help' yes, at the end of the day it boiled down to ignoring the fact of whom she believed she could help and more so that she wanted to help in general. Which was commendable in its own rights. In truth Kumotake had no intention of going to the hospital after his shower, he made no promises after all...but, what the hell he thought. Kagerou seemed so bound determined it would have been a d**k move to just push it aside, plus after seeing what he had just seen in his mirror...mayhaps he'd reached his d**k move quota for the day.
Coming out fresh and clean, he remembered something.."Oh right Sukoso clea.." opening his eyes he'd see the room was already for the most part bloodstain free. "Tch..Gross." He'd say almost if not disgusted by just how 'helpful' Kagerou was but really perhaps it was a 'tinge' of jealousy. Seeing the notebook on his bed once more he'd notice it somehow survived being bloodstained. Opening it it he'd skim through the pages once more then frown. It wasn't Kagerou's intention but she'd inadvertently removed all the pages that were written in his blood that contained purely self depreciation and self loathing. Tossing the journal aside Kumotake would comment a short "Whatever." accidently perhaps helping Kumotake in the removal of said entries Kumotake got clothed and waved his companion to follow. The lights being shut off leaving behind the journal with a glow and good sum of negative entries erased. ~exit

The emblem of a jagged spider sewn on the backsides while the palms contain what appear to be the equivalent of small hole like pores. The gloves when worn treat the wearer's hands as if they were complex for interactions with ninjutsu. The gloves allow interaction with chakra structures and the pores on the gloves themselves can produce threading from each fingertip. The threading can then attach to structures allowing them to be manipulated by pulling them. These threads are not unlike chakra threads in strength but are clearly visible. When finger tips are brought together the produced threads can fuse into one leading to garrote wire like executions.
Ability Summary: ►Feeding the gloves 10 chakra allows the users hands to interact with Ninjutsu and treats all physical skills using one's hands as complex for interactions. Aqua Turaco
Aqua arrived with the guide to the apartments where they would be staying. She bowed to the guide, she believed the Mizukage said th guide would be staying with them throughout thier visit. She invited the guide in. Aqua then allowed the guards to clean up first, as they had limited amount of showers. The good thing was they were all guys so they took like 5 minute showers. Aqua jumped in a took her time. When she was finished she stepped out and got changed. She was prepared for the meeting but was quite famished. She walked over to the guide who was drinking tea with the guards."Would you take me to a location with food? I would like to see your village and pick up some food for my party." The guide nodded and the guards stood. But Aqua told half of them to stay in the apartments. So only 2 went with her. They headed off to the food marketplace.
On the way down, Kagerou stopped by her room really quickly. First, to change her clothes. Her first mission out of the village and she wanted to wear pants for it, dammit, so she changed to clothes with pants. Then, in respect for the lately brisk weather, Kagerou also dressed on the warmer side, tossing on a scarf and some prettily patterned gloves.
Before all that, of course, there was the sunflower Nozomi had presented to Kagerou as a gift. Kagerou took a tall water glass out from the cupboard and filled it with water from the kitchen sink. After trimming the stem of the sunflower, she filled the glass with the bright and sunny flower. She placed the new decoration in the center of the kitchen table and then, and only then, did Kagerou start changing clothes.
An escort mission implied possible combat at one point or another, and with Takumi as a rendezvous point, there wasn't much need for luggage. Kagerou pondered, Thinking like that, Kagerou walked out of her room and made for Takeda's.
At least, she made for what she had assumed was Takeda's room. Evidently, in her rush to get everything done, she had missed a rather important detail. Takeda's room wasn't in this apartment anymore, and the door Kagerou had assumed was his instead bore the nameplate of her... parents? "Ah... What is this?" she said right out loud, head tilted quizzically to the side, .
It was the middle of the day, so of course both of Kagerou's parents were out at work. Standing and staring wasn't going to help her solve this mystery, either. With no apparent solution, Kagerou didn't waste her time fretting over it for long. She simply, "Hmphed," at the mystery before her and walked back into her room, where she picked up an extra scarf for Takeda before leaving again. It wasn't his scarf, but the weather was getting a bit brisk.
After doing a routine double check of the room--all the power off, windows all closed and locked, etc., etc.--Kagerou exited her apartment (of course making sure to close the door) and headed to get some food on the way to the gates.

To clarify, they they gain a -5 chakra reduction every rank, to a maximum of -20 at sannin. All medical jutsu are still learnable by both sides, but the chakra control only applies to the chosen side.
• Grand Performance - The user can perform both types of arts (ninjutsu and genjutsu) through their performance or instrument, often casting them at the same time (must pay for both techniques). Can perform D rank techniques through instrument at gennin, C at Chunnin, B at jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin.
• Learn Medical techniques one (1) post faster.
• Learn ninjutsu (1) post faster.
• Learn genjutsu one (1) post faster.
• Miracle Performance - Kagerou can perform healing eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. • Calamity Performance - Kagerou can perform offensive eiseijutsu through her performance/instrument as if it was ninjutsu of the same rank. When performing offensive medical techniques, she can target anyone who can hear her music with the jutsu. I.e. she no longer has to be within touch range of the target to use killing hands. Harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner is guaranteed to hit as long as the condition of sound is met, but it takes one post to manifest its effects. In that time, the technique can be nullified by matching the energy (chakra/stamina/whatever else) cost Kagerou paid to use the entire jutsu, including any extra costs for additions/modifications. Those afflicted by harmful eiseijutsu cast in this manner become aware that if they do not spend the required amount of chakra/stamina, then bad things will happen to their body. The target(s) will have a vague sense of how bad the damage will be, but do not know what exactly will happen.
• Dream Audience - Kagerou's dream is to help as many as she could. From this desire, the dream world manifested the power to multiply the recipients of all of her eiseijutsu techniques. Today was a wonderful day to be a freshly minted genin bearing a fresh, blue headband wrapped tigtly around her forehead. Chokaya had gone through her morning ritual hours earlier, waiting desperately for the sun to shine through her window and let her know that it was time. Today was the day it would happen. Finally, finallyfinally she would be allowed to go and meet the new leader of the village, Inka! Beyond that, however, it was also the day that Chokaya was going to begin training her bloodline abilities and ninjutsu. Her heartbeat was loud, the blood rushing into her ears a stark level louder. With fervor, she kicked open her door and stepped outside of her Shinobi dwelling. Imagine her surprise, however, when a pod fell from the great tree. Seconds past as the orbs of Chokaya's eyes locked onto it. With baited breath and careful pacing she moved closer until the sound flooded her ear like a cacophony of warnings that she should stop in her tracks, and so stop she did.
And take a measured step away.
The pod was blooming, and Chokaya couldn't help but feel a sort of primal fear at the sight. The sight was gnarly and off putting to the young elemental hero for sure, and she did not enjoy what she was seeing in the slightest. The hair she saw first, then the shape of the head and face. It was inka... but it wasn't? The eyes... those colors were not natural. The way it spilled out reminded her of blood pooling from a wound more than tears. She hacked a little, but maintained herself as best she could. It spoke. The words cut into her, they felt personal but he wasn't even addressing her, not directly. She frowned before she addressed... it. Him? "L-lord Mizukage? Inka..? What's wrong with your eyes. Why... why were you in that pod... what are you doing here?" The blurb of questions were bunched together. Her clear anxiety would likely seem pathetic to anyone else.
[･･･] It shudders, and a small surge of syrupy, congealing liquid ooze from the eye sockets. "Danger," It whispers, chin tilting down and appearing to actually speak to you this time. But the moment is short lived, and its implication of a gaze drifts away once more. "Protection... how is it given..." A vague mumble, but it continues. "How do I protect you?"

He shuddered. He shuddered?! Chokaya lost the irony of the man before her giving a shake when she herself was the shook one as another intense wave of fear rocked her body. Every fractal pattern encompassing her being was like a leaf, shivering with a sort of primevil fear. But steadfast was the student of crystals as it spoke and more of... whatever that was came from his eyes. He had addressed her. He had looked at her directly and whispered a word that couldn't have meant anything but that she needed to run. Instead, Chokaya swallowed and steeled herself as he looked away from her. She stepped forward, not wanting him to drift away.
As much as she really really did.
"Inka, you don't need to worry about protecting me. I'm plenty strong enough on my own. I... I don't know what's happened but... but let me help you. You need a hospital."

Her eyes saw too much. Far too much in fact. She didn't know if it was because of illness or if this was the true, natural state of her leader, but seeing that... disgusting growth all but shook the girl completely. She didn't know what to say. She had critically failed the will save, in theory, and as it told her to leave, it was all she could do to not literally run away. Chokaya took a step back again, back towards the door of her home. "I... I'm going to get you some help Inka. Don't leave. I'm going to go to the hospital and get a doctor to come here for you." In her haste she turned, not realizing the door was there, and in the most pathetic way she could have she turned and slammed her face into the door, causing blood to leak from her nostril and her body to recoil and fall on the floor."Ouch dammit!" she cried out scrambling to her feet and turning to run the correct way this time.

The village had gone quiet lately, but that was not to say that it was unwanted. It gave Akoto much more time to continue her training and such, as well as managing to hang around the other children her age. Over the course of a little break, they had started up a small friendship after some numerous uneasy visits. They had found out about her little secret involving Konohagakure and had hazed her for a pretty long time if she so much as showed her face around them. As of late, it seemed as if they were finally warming up to her. It felt oddly nice to have friends her own age. Neko-chan was a nice and stalwart companion, but even if Akoto was a full fledged shinobi of the village, she was still just a kid. Everyone else were mostly older teens to young adults. Being like this caused her a good amount of stress and blowing it off by playing with children her age seemed to be doing wonders for her self-esteem. Or so the doctor told her.
She would be busy sitting on a bench as the day passed her by, without but a care in the world. When the tree that had caused mass panic released a steady stream of rose colored petals and such from its layers of branches. Looking up as people gasped, Akoto would blink as a sweet scent soon filled the air of people around her grandfather's apartment. "Wh-Wha-What's happening?" She asked herself, watching the petals fall before a few screams here and there filled her head with the residents. Before she could go and interact, a feeling of vertigo hit her, acting as if she were falling endlessly despite standing completely still. When Akoto got her bearings again she shook her head before noticing a couple of things.
For one, the dress she had on had been torn by her frame, having grown enough during that strange sensation to have it in danger of shreading completely. She whimpered at the tight feeling before noticing something even weirder, being her voice. "M-My voice..." Her heart dropped. That certainly wasn't her usual sounding female voice. It was too deep and somewhat heroic even. She would begin to feel around her body, noticing a complete lack of anything feminine. One final check would shoot down south as she felt a space being occupied that had not been before.
"Ah-I'm a..." She...He couldn't even finish the rest of his sentence as Akoto would now feel more of his dress stress against his larger frame. Amidst the chaos hitting the street, he climbed into the neighboring building before spotting some clothes that could probably fit him. He wasted very little time in grabbing the clothes and then hiding in a nearby bush. Just as he landed, the dress would finally rip in two, freeing his new form as Akoto would glance down at his male self for a bit and worry. What was happening to him? Was everyone in the village suffering like this? After a minute or so of staring in fear, he slid up a fresh pair of underwear, moving with a gray hoodie that turned out to be much to small to cover all of his new body, and some shorts that thankfully fit. Now fully dressed, Akoto moved out from the bush and sighed, feeling this strange new body of his for only a moment before looking towards the main hub of the village. "N-Neko-chan..." His new voice betrayed his true feelings, worrying greatly and needing a hug with his comrade but sounding more confidant than he actually was. Hurrying to the village hub, Akoto hoped to find and assist more people.
