I heard of Amanda Todd sad story that leads her to suicide.
I didn't know the story in detail.
The documentary is on youtube from CBC news. I don't know if people all over the world see the video.

Be careful girls of cyberbullying and *****. The police didn't help to stop the stalker.

The police doesn't really know about cyber bullying. However I actually thought that cyber bully should be bad deed is go to jail.

The Police are slightly limited in what they can do. The problem with cyber bullies is you have to create a system that can regulate over international borders. Your local police can't do much in that case.

It violates child pornography laws in that sense it's incredibly illegal and in fact the guy they accused for the crime is sitting in jail awaiting trial for similar deeds, though he professes innocence in the case of Amanda Todd.

How we handle crimes that occur over the internet is probably one of the biggest issues of our time. We need laws that protect people like Amanda Todd, but not so many that you spend three years on trial for disagreeing with someone's' opinion.

I've always been of the opinion if you don't want it turning up, don't put it out there. Teach children to block people on the internet that make them uncomfortable, and only let them have access to a family computer that sits in an open area, so you can intervene if something seems wrong to you.

And with everything else decide how much freedom/control you want on the internet, and demand the laws that put it in place.

The police if their technology is updated then they can and will do something about it, but the problem happens when cyber crimes are happening over international borders and state borders. Also, not all departments have a division for cyber crimes.
