Beginning to freak out my boyfriend

Because every time he tries to sneak up on me, I just KNOW he's coming.

Like most of the time it's because I can hear his footsteps, even in a loud and crowded place. He has a distinctive gait, so I can pick up on his particular rhythm. My hearing is pretty damn good (and I'm a freakishly light sleeper -- no one can ever pull pranks on me in my sleep, because even the slightest rustle of clothing will wake me, haha), so that's not really unusual for me. But yesterday I was sitting at one of the little lounge areas in the dining hall building waiting for him so we could go to brunch, and I had earbuds in with my music up loud and I was looking at something on my phone at the time. Well, it's hard to explain, but somehow I just felt him approaching and I looked up in his direction suddenly, and he was all like "OH COME ON, HOW DID YOU HEAR ME?!?!" rofl

I told him that's the downside to dating a Jedi. The Force is strong with me. wink
