Howdy again all. I am both happy and frustrated at the latest events at work. We got a bunch of new computers for the first time in 6 years but it is my job to get all the old software working on them. I am enjoying the new speed of these PC's in comparison to their predecessors. Unfortunately some software is over ten years old and is not compatible with the new computers.

Update: I finally found a solution to some of the problems. Although it is not ideal, it works. For one problem the software could not handle the screen resolution of 1600x900 and for the other problem the software failed to fully install but copying over the folder from the previous "old" PC's got around that problem.
Just another reason why it is best to update the software when updating the hardware. But everyone tries to save money or just outright cannot afford new hardware AND software and since most new software won't run on old hardware...
