Well, actually, its our Christmas gift to eachother.. we upgraded TV's. Aaron and I were sitting on the couch earlier today, and he was like "You wanna go to Costco and look at TV's?" and I was like "Ok!"

Next thing you know, we picked out a 55" Smart TV. xp

My parents have sometimes done that themselves where they decide to go together to buy something and just claim it's their Christmas gift to each other. xd

The concept of Christmas stockings takes root from a tradition performed during St. Nicholas Day. Children would leave a shoe by their bedroom door, sometimes filled with carrots or grain/hay (for the Saint's horse/donkey to eat). If the child was good, St. Nick would leave gifts in the shoe (like a bag of candy); if not, then it would be coal.
