In the midst of the hub-bub of the winter booth, a particularly bright kin has set up shop, her stall covered in an assortment of frogs. Why? Well, it's a kissing booth of course! You're not here to kiss kin, you're here to kiss frogs! The orange kin-- Gecko, you glean from passing conversation- has her tail wagging in delight, waiting with her assortment of... 'friends'. One particular frog seems a nasty sight, and you hope you don't wind up swapping spit with that thing.
"Um, hi! Are you. Here to kiss a frog?" She giggles, gesturing to the booth. "Oh, who am I kidding, of course you are!!! Why wouldn't you?"
..Oh boy. You're not getting out of this one.

The OOC Setup
Once a day, you're welcome to roll one ten-sided die! Depending on your roll, you have 150 words to reply to the prompt and earn yourself a genuine spending token!
1. You kiss a frog. Blech. Gecko nods approvingly, and gives you a token for your trouble. (+1 token) 2. You... miss the frog's mouth. Gecko is extremely disappointed, and sends you on your way. 3. You feel disinclined to kiss the frog, suddenly. Gecko is sad, but understands. 4. You give that frog a great big smooch! Gecko is pleased, and gives you a token. (+1 token) 5. The frog... isn't there? Gecko panics, and runs off to find her friend. Sorry! No kiss for you! Have a token for your trouble. (+1 token) 6. You end up kissing... a toad? Gecko is upset. This is not a frog AT ALL. Nonetheless, you earn a token. (+1 token) 7. You kiss... Frog. Uh-oh. That... that wasn't supposed to be for you. Gecko laughs nervously, and gives you a token. You stumble off drunk from this weird, toxic creature. (+1 token, and you're drunk!) 8. There is no frog to kiss. Instead, you kiss Gecko! The doe is pleased. Her next door neighbor, Fair Hunter, is NOT, and gives you a token on the promise this will not happen again. (Note- if you kiss Gecko twice, Fair Hunter just scares you off. No token today!) (+1 token first time rolled, no token afterward) 9. Gecko is on union break! No kiss for you. There's a pile of tokens on the table, and you assume to help yourself to one. (+1 token) 10. You end up kissing a fish. Why is there a fish? "Oh, sorry!" Gecko chirps, laughing. "That's my lunch!" The acha she stole the fish from doesn't seemed thrilled at off. She gives you a token for the smooch anyway, and sends you on your merry way. (+1 token)
...What's that? You'd like to interact with Gecko herself? OF COURSE YOU DO! She is PRETTY GREAT, after all! Simply give me a quote with your RP-interaction, and I'll do my best to have Gecko give you a reply! If you're feeling it, we could even make it into a one on one RP thread later!**Certain VERY LUCKY patrons of The Kissing Booth may find themselves given an extra prize or two. What prize? Well! Only Gecko knows!

Username: Kitty Sprightt Dice Roll: 4 Kin name: Negative Response: Negative wandered the aisles early in the day, before his booth had opened, looking at what other kin were offering. All kinds of things were up for trade, from food to treasure, and there were all kinds of games! Games of chance, games of skill, some games that looked a little scary -
- A kissing booth? That was unexpected - and pretty forward, he thought. It took a little while for him to work up the nerve to approach - the doe running it was so cute! He couldn't not. When he did finally make it there, with a fair bit of blushing and hoof-gazing, he learned that apparently he wasn't supposed to kiss her, just her frogs.
Well, that was alright! Frogs were nice. Yep.
The gangling, mouthy, purple buck scrunched up his eyes, leaned in, and... Planted a big ole smooch right on that frog! It was... PLEASANTLY slimy, and wiggled unhappily as his jagged lips pressed against its face.

Username: Scaramouche Fandango Dice Roll: 2 Kin name: Pile of Secrets Response: Kissing was easy, right? He was supposedly good at kissing. He'd heard that he was good at it; the doe he'd been with hadn't minded, after all- and so Pile of Secrets was absolutely certain he could kiss a frog. The little creature wasn't too jumpy, really- it was docile enough that he could attempt to give it a kiss. He didn't much mind frogs- their taste wasn't particularly pleasant when eaten, and he couldn't stand the texture, but he really did like them alive- their voices were pleasant and their faces could be charming- so he could definitely kiss one.
However, the frog had other plans. As he leaned in for the smooch, the frog leaned away from him. He ended up kissing the air instead- which while certainly a kiss didn't seem to impress the booth's adminstrator much. Hm. Perhaps he needed more practice. What kind of creature of the night was he if he couldn't even kiss a frog?

Username: Magician Arcana Dice Roll: 9 Kin name: Butterfly Kiss Response: Got a token but no kiss aw. Butterfly Kiss had been eyeing the set ups. His very first festival! Oh now this was most exciting. He glanced around and found one offering - KISSES. Yes that was his thing. He liked Kisses. It was in his NAME for goodness sake. How could someone with the word Kiss pass up a chance to Kiss? Answer: They couldn't. But it appeared, as he looked forlornly around, that the owner was not here. No, she was gone and not taking lovely kisses. Nor were the frogs. An emotion came over him then. "8C" It was a big emotion for someone so newly aquainted with the world. At least there were shiny tokens nearby and he was encouraged to take one. Yes perhaps a little token could soothe over the raging wound of being spurned by some unknown kin... No kiss. No kiss. It was a very, very sad life so far. So very very sad. But the token... It did make it better.

B-but, Gecko had asked so nicely (really she just told him to be there, and pouted,) and his sister had wandered off to do her own thing, so here was The Draw, standing around this random booth with a bunch of frogs looking at him. A couple seemed like they were puckering up for some kind of reason also. Nnrgh.
Going to stand around to wait for his turn, he looked around, assuming that someone should have been there, right? A bright orange kimeti that would have probably jumped all over him, telling him she knew he was supposed to come?
Minutes passed, before he even realized he, himself, was the only kimeti around.
She had to take breaks, right?
It was just his luck, that he happened to show up while she was gone. Clearing his throat, he decided to pickup a token and just stand there, hoping that she would come back and tell him what to do with it. How embarrasing . . .

When Better Than You had heard of a kissing booth at the winter market he'd expected well... what every young hopeful buck might expect. He'd trade a kiss for a token. In his mind it was a win/win. Unfortunately the disgusted look on some of the patron's faces went unnoticed by the preening acha as he had his eyes on the bright little kimeti running it. Yes this would work out perfectly! "Wait. A frog?!" Ohhh no. Better Than You was not about to ki-...He stared at the wriggling pile of frogs in distaste. Well... maybe if he did this he'd get a sympathy (or pity, he wasn't picky there) kiss from Gecko herself afterwards. She was terribly enthusiastic after all... Determined to get it over with quickly Better Than You dove in and gave a big smooth to the first bumpy back to meet his nose.

"Your frogs are so cute!" she gushed, peering over them with bright eyes. "I'm, um - what - " Her voice trailed off. Were those kin kissing them? That didn't really seem like it'd be helpful, but at least it wouldn't hurt. She'd seen some, um, very violent booths. She wasn't sure she was at all amused. This, on the other hand - this looked harmless. "I'd like to kiss a frog," she told the orange doe, voice suddenly serious. What was she supposed to do? Close her eyes? Yes, perhaps that'd work best. She'd have felt bad singling one out. She leaned in and felt something surprisingly smooth and flat beneath her lips. It was also slimy, but, well, it was a frog, so that was to be expected. She opened her eyes to see which little cutie she'd manag - wait. This was most decidedly not a frog. And it certainly wasn't amphibious. "This...b-but this is a fish." Soothe said, with a note of confusion. "They need water, even if you'd like to kiss them..." She tilted her head and trailed off. Had she been tricked? the mighty Moonstone Dazzle

Well! It seemed very much like the other kin were enjoying her game! There were some who were disappointed it wasn't HER to be kissed (but... why would they want to kiss her??? That made no sense!!!), but overall, it seemed a good success! Gecko looked amongst the players gleefully, her tail in full-force swish and a grin upon her face.
Only... that one! That one did not seem to be having a very good time!
"Oh, um! I am so very sorry!" Gecko laughed, trotting over and taking the fish from the doe. Setting it aside, she offered her a sheepish smile.
"I got kind of hungry, and stole it from next door. Don't tell Fair Hunter, though!" She loud-whispered, fairly certain that Hunter had seen her take the fish anyway. Her smile turned softer as she remembered earlier.
"I'm so very glad you like my frogs! There's, um. There's a story that one might turn into a handsomest prince if you kiss it, so I figured, maybe someone could find their prince today!" She beamed.

He gives a shot kissing one of the cutie croaking babies and... totally miss the frog's mouth, smooching it clean on the eye. The frog closes its eye and gawks at him annoyed, and lets out one loud croak. Itch ducks his head and apologizes, glancing sideways at Gecko. "Uh.. ha... Whoops...? Maybe next time." He dodges out quietly the way he came, and makes a promise to himself to come back the next day. Frogs were so cute, he just had to come back!

Wait couldn't help himself. Once he'd caught of that doe, all smooth features and bright orange pelt (none of his pumpkins had ever been that orange), he'd begun lurking on the edges of her booth the way a caiman might stalk a potential kill. But it was the other kin he'd been watching come and go, studying their techniques and Gecko's reactions to them. Eventually, he had to have a go at it too.
Sidling on up, Wait looked as cool as any croc. "Your finest frog, please," he rumbled as eyes slid shut, leaning forward to place a delicate peck on a whole lotta nothin' -- uh, wait, Wait. Straightening, he was just as flustered as the doe was, but she scurried off before he could even suggest a better replacement.

The blue-footed acha wandered over and winked at the lovely orange doe and listened to her ... wait, he wouldn't be kissing her? He swallowed thickly. She was adorable, and seemed very intent on having unknowing kin kiss her frogs. Step to the Right scrunched up his face a little. He would much rather kiss the doe. Ah! Wait, maybe he could impress her by kissing the frog, and then get a kiss from her? Yes, this was a perfect plan. He steeled himself and said he would play. He was shown his froggy partner and Right stare into it's beady, wet eyes for a moment. He started to tremble as he got closer. He tried to pucker, but then the frog croaked. "I can't do this! I'm sorry..." He hung his head in shame. He was not ready to kiss a frog when such a pretty doe was watching.

Ooh, wait. The acha buck paused and blinked at Gecko and then down at the line up of frogs? Why would he want to kiss a frog?
They were frogs and they were slimy and one sort of looked a bit toxic, thank you very much. Well, maybe? Rill danced back and forth before giving a sigh and puckered up, leaning forward to kiss something slimy. Blahh... hun, what, that tasted a bit off. Even for kissing a frog.
Rill blinked, opening his eyes and stared at the brightly color thing that he had been nervous about. Ahh, nope, he hadn't meant to kiss that. He blinked, barely hearing the doe laughing nervously, but accepted the token best he could and stumbled off.
Maybe he should find Nightshine for a little bit.

Well.... kissing a frog doesn't seem too bad, really, if it might earn her a token. She really does want a token. She only hopes there won't be any ill effects from it, though, and frets a bit as her tail curls and uncurls nervously.
Finally, she screws her eyes closed and picks a frog at random. Puckering her lips, she lays a hearty smack right on it's.. surprisingly.. fishy lips? What?
Opening her eyes, she ducks her head shyly as Gecko laughs when she realizes what she'd kissed hadn't been a frog at all, but a fish. "Oh... umm... that's alright. Thank you for the token, though." She smiles a little, and then wanders off to see what might catch her attention, next.
