[OFFICE TOT] Nerisei

Nerisei wasn't sure what inspired her to show up to trick or treat. Maybe it was the lure of sweets, or the opportunity to run into the other colorful creeple of the school. Either way, she now was wandering through the halls, going door-to-door and asking for sweets like a little ghouling. As she approached the first door to an office, Nerisei took a moment to collect herself before walking up to see the first professor.

As Nerisei walked up to the office, she snapped her fingers and suddenly she was decked out in her costume from the previous class. Adjusting her pirate hat and mask, she drifted into the library-like office. It took but a moment for her to evaluate both professors and their costumes, before approaching to reach out for candy.

Suddenly, her hand was nearly slapped away by the laughing professor, as Selene requested that she provide a human fact before getting her treat.

"Humans are known to be overindulgent, and are slowly destroying the life of their planet in an effort to consume and expand for their own foolishness." Nerisei said slowly, a true fact that she had been drilled with for years.

Selene was beaming, and actually suggested that Nerisei make an essay on the indulgence of humans and the impact they have had. Nodding slowly, Nerisei simply took the offered candy and backed out of the room.

As she finished with the one room, Nerisei just left her costume on. It would be easier than having other professors bother her to show off her so-called look. The next office is dark, and Nerisei paused at the door to stare inside at the lone light. Eyeing the dark being with interest, she simply knocked and waited as he looked up, sighed, and told her to just take the candy and go.

Ignoring the darkness the best she could, she walked in and felt herself step on a round, ball like item. Nearly falling, but trying to stay as graceful as possible, she moved and grabbed candy before drifting back out of the room.

The next door was closed, so Nerisei was forced to call out a half-hearted trick-or-treat before it opened to reveal the icy demoness. Waiting silently, Nerisei was not pleased when she was asked to roar. She was a dryad, not a dragon, and was more of a delicate type.

Stepping back, her roar was as loud as she, and just as boisterous. In other words, it sounded more like a kitty-cat than a lion, and Winter seemed to be disappointed.

At least she got candy for trying, and it was the good stuff too.

As Nerisei walked by a classroom, she couldn't help but notice something was going on. Stalling, she realized it was another professor with some candy to give, so she ventured inside. Moving to the reaper, she didn't really understand the costume, but didn't have time to ponder as she was directed to find the ghost.

"Ghost...?" Moving her hand over each one slowly, Nerisei finally picked a cup up...to reveal a demon.

Drat. One candy it was.

The next office was cramped already, but the professor had to fill it to the brim with bones. With a nose that wrinkled with distaste, Nerisei moved into the room and approached the professor, wary of what task she would need to do now. Thankfully, the professor seemed focused on the bones, so she simply moved to grab some candy instead from the bowl sitting on the desk, ignoring the professor and rushing back out the door.

Nerisei entered the next classroom and glared at the cackling thing that greeted her. Glancing at the professor, she tried to hold in her sigh at how tiring this day had become, before walking over and waiting for further direction. Apparently, she had a hunt to do, and so she went to the most logical place for food - the fridge.

Looking past the bottles without further question, she grabbed two pieces of candy before nodding and leaving the room.

Nerisei walked slowly into the gym, the next location in her trek through the academy, and eyed the professor sitting atop the middle with a bit of apprehension. Nodding at the direction, the hamadryad moved through to the door and made sure her pirate top and hat were still on, as well as her skull mask.

As she walked through the door, everything changed and she was surrounded by a world of candy. Actually gaping, Nerisei missed the candy creature that appeared to strike her, and realized too late that she was also a shadowy form of her costume.

Her FEAR seemed gone, so she resorted to fighting with her hands, her bony hands, against the candied creature.

She was struck back, hard, and Nerisei moved to strike again. The candy that fell off the creature disappeared, but it didn't seem to care it was missing an arm and part of its face. Instead it struck back as well.

Nerisei slipped on the ground, missing her next lunge as the shadow creature struck in turn. Cursing softly, she moved and darted back a bit, focusing on the fight and what needed to be done.

As she struck one last time, the creature seemed to explode into a candy pile. Picking up the few candies that were left, Nerisei walked back to the door without a second look, glad to see that the shadowy form was now gone and she was back to normal. Nodding toward Red, she rushed out of the gym and to the next room.

Upon entering the Creepateria, Nerisei was forced to repeat her greeting until it was to the satisfaction of the overlord. Only then was she directed to decorate a cupcake to the best of her ability in order to get her candy reward.

Nerisei tried to make it look like a tree with a deep face, the eyes came out quite spooky but the cup cake looked more like a board than anything. It was satisfying enough, and she took her candy and left.

Maybe, after all of this, Nerisei was getting into the spirit. That had to be why she was still wandering around and asking for candy. It seemed the theater teacher demanded she do so as well, for she was asked to put on a show and stay in character.

Despite her tone, she still kept to the character, swishing away and telling the tale of how the pirate became an undead and getting excited in all the fighting, lunging, and swashbuckling. As she finished, he seemed impressed, but decided to give her some acting direction in the form of her accent.

Right.

Nerisei was surprised that she was put up to another task of fighting a beast, but this time it was more than a candy shadow. This was a beast of danger, and excitement, and it was quite cute too. Nerisei took a few moments just to appreciate the monster before determining how to get candy.

Maybe the creature got over it, or maybe it appreciated her as well, for it tossed her a piece of candy and ignored her. Humming, Nerisei tucked it away and left the room.

The woods, they really weren't that bad. In fact, Nerisei felt quite at home as she wandered for her final task. It didn't matter that she was going in circles, looking for something to fetch. It was relaxing, and she found herself smiling with a bit of fun as she evaluated the nature around her.
