Several hunters were sent to the world where creatures and monsters resided in Halloween, Once in the year, there were be reports of a large number of creatures rushing to the human world during the festival. Therefore, as a secret military organization to protect human beings, hunters will have reconnaissance duty added to their list of tasks.

In the past, the petite hunter grew up in Asia didn't have a chance to participate in Trick-or-Treat activities during Halloween. On the island, she had some fun but how could she miss that great pie drop from the sky? As a result, she volunteered for the task even it meant reports later. She was assigned a partner, a trainee with her. Hearing that there would be an extracurricular class that day, she pried for information and was on her way with her partner, A Sun trainee called Mercy.

"Mercy, can I call you Mercy?" The tall nekomata asked, blinking his bright eyes at the werewolf slightly shorter than him. "From what I've got, we're gonna attend a class by Professor Winter together and see if they have planned anything dangerous. Please be careful not having your identity discovered." The petite hunter in a male nekomata golem said, in a friendly tone like chatting with a friend.

OhmanOhmanOhmanOhmanOhmanOhmanOhman!!!! She was SO excited to be chosen as one of the hunters to get sent out for "spy" work on the creatures of Halloween since she was curious about the whole monsters are real thing ever since she heard about it from some of the more helpful hunters around the island. She often missed out on trick or treating since her mother couldn't be bothered to buy her a costume and her father was busy working. During her time in Halloween, she was assigned to a partner, which she didn't mind since she seemed super chill and friendly so far.

"Mercy's totally cool~ And alright! I can totally be all ninja and make sure my identity isn't discovered." I'm sure you can't, since you do have a temper that tends to spin out of control at the slightest insult...Humph, loose canon... Mercy rolled her eyes Shut it Drae...

"Are you ready?" The Nekomata asked, and knocked onto the door. "Good morning, Professor." There they saw a composed female demon in blue, she gestured them to take a seat and offered them a series of documents. Shu leaned closer against Mercy, "Hey, do they look like contracts to you?" She flipped the fist few pages, the texts were packed and like squirming little black worms, not soon she felt dizzy by reading lines through lines. The bell behind her golem's back rang feebly as Shu grabbed the tail to play with nervously. It was a first time she was required to sign something with a demon and she'd be warned about demon contracts can be a very dangerous thing.

The small werewolf gave the neko a toothy smile. "Yup! My body is totally ready for this!" Her tail was wagging fiercely behind her, waiting patiently for the door to the office to open, smiling at the professor in front of them. "Morn'in Professor~ Sup?" she waved, taking a seat next to Shu, frowning at the paper work that was needed for them to travel to the human world. She looked to the neko leaning in and nodded. "Sorta? Could be permission slips for a field trip? I know we had to have our parents fill those out whenever we took a trip. Mercy frowned at the other golem's behaviour, reaching out to steady her a bit. "Hey...Maybe its not so bad? Sides, it doesn't make sense to sign a contract for going to the human world right? I can ask if you want?"

Mercy had no problems asking to see if these were indeed contracts. You would try to be the brave one Mercedes...Why don't you just let the girl stew in her fear? I see no problem with this...She's going to be a liability to the "mission" anyway. The wolf growled and rolled her eyes. Shut up Drae...That wasn't nice you jack a**... God her weapon was an a** hole it seemed. Mercy scribbled down a fake name and waited patiently. "Look, we could just sign it. I don't see anything bad happening from this, it wouldn't make sense anyway."

"OH-oh," She finally realized she was playing with the tail, "I don't worry about whether it's a contract much, Professors usually won't set your up. My concern is: are we discovered but you're right." She was in her role of being a genuine Nekomata, when a cat worries, it naturally licks its fur. She couldn't do so, thus she played with her tail instead as a form of acting. <Nah, the gorgeous is not suspecting you. See, all others have to sign them.>

The Nekomata returned a toothy grin to the werewolf, but shortly pawed at him in gentle force. "Hey, we're heading to the humaw world, we've an advantage on this, Mercy." The cat chirped delightfully with tiny surprise, whispered low to the werewolf's fluffy ears. The desire to touch them were very real, the bright feline eyes fixed on them for a while before he paid attention to Professor Winter's briefing again.

"Yes! Thats the spirit~ Besides if anything happens...We could always come back to kick their asses..." His ears flickered, enticing the neko to touch before everyone's attention was turned back to the professor, her tail wagging. She hasn't been to the human world in a bit considering she was a newly awakened hunter with a lot of training ahead of her. She wished the demon would hurry up so they could go already damn it! Paitence Mercedes....Sometimes being over eager can give you away~ The small werewolf sighed and settled down, crossing his arms. you do have a point I guess... Draex chuckled, the laugh sending chills down her spine. Mercy, I ALWAYS have a point. Now pay attention so we can do this right~ And for once, she settled down to pay attention.

Someone told the truth the cat demon couldn't remove his bright eyes from the fluffy ears, they were beckoning him, he wiggled his tail to suppress the anxiety but chuckled at Mercy's threatening words. Shu was so glad by human world, it won't be a place near her home. Just a glance and she would feel a twinge of pain, she had been cut from her family a long time ago, she knew they didn't want to see her at all.

The nekomata took a glance at the werewolf, Mercy's expression was full of excitement and expectations. She could guess if the professor opened the door in the next second, she would sprint to the human world. That funny imagination cheered her by a tiny bit. The female demon informed them that she would do something to make them invisible, Shu was curious of her method. Even though most of the humans wouldn't see them, but a small sum of them could see them as dark vague shadows, she said. As a result, they needed to fully guarantee no humans can be able to see their existences.

They were called to line up, and Shu took Mercy's hand to pull her into the line, can't wait to know what the trick was. When it was her turn, the demon showered the Nekomata with something like glitters, she reached out to catch some but they all vanished. Fascinated by it, the cat demon spun like the Cinderella, the bell tinkled a lovely brisk melody.

"Mercy, you're invisible. Let's test it in front of some humaws!" The tall cat demon flipped his own passport and amazed by how close it resembled theirs. His eyes squinted at his mischievous idea and tail swung like an meandering stream.

Mercy was a bit shocked when Shu grabbed her hand, pulling her to the line. She didnt mind at all, it was just a bit...Unexpected. The werewolf eyed the glitter with a bit of distain, laughing when the cute neko was super fascinated by the glitter, watching her twirl around like cinderella. The sight was more than a little cute, which made her smile as glitter was placed on her next. She snorted and wriggled her nose when some of the glitter managed to make it inside. Well, at least she would have invisible boogers right?

"Yeah! Lets do this!~" she yipped with excitment, staring at her own passport, pawing playfully at the neko's tail. "Lets goooo~" Mercy grabbed Shu's hand, leading her to a random house. "Wanna stay inside or outside?"

Leslie might think she's not realistic enough again, but being able to experience the life in a word of magic like that famous fantasy novels chronicled adventures of a young wizard and his friends, was what she longed for. She'd be a happy witch apprentice together with her sisters and brothers, and magic might change many which happened. Even it was not the first time she entered this word that consisted of magic, she couldn't help bewitched by what it showed her.

The cat demon turned around and flashed a toothy grin at the shorter werewolf hearing his snort, his tail twisting behind oddly graceful for pondering to bomb Mercy on her birthday with glitters. What Shu didn't notice was the mischievous smile obliviously sold her out.

Stepping out from the portal, ignored the fact that how close theirs resembled Halloween's, she looked around and saw people with blonde hairs, red hairs and all sorts of eye colors. They arrived a western country, it better fitted a town more than a city. Still holding Mercy's hand, the two walked out from the alley and a street full of sparkly decorations came into vision. "Wow." Sighed Shu dreamly, with cat accent. "Look Mercy! That's very cute!" The sun was setting and the decorative lights in orange and yellow lit up, there were rows craved pumpkins of different sizes put on the grassland in front of the house.

Shu poked a hanging bat decoration and had a big smile on her golem face. "I'd like to go inside if you're okay?" She then leaned closer and bent to whisper near the werewolf's ear: "Gonna pretend we're students and be buffled and surprised of humans' weird antics, okay? Remember, the Professor said she'll be watching us." The fluffy hair touching her face was tiny itching and the cat demon grimaced and sneezed. "Meow, let's get in and observe some humaws!" His bright round eyes glowed in the dark, the sun had already gone from sight.

Wow...She never noticed how much work people put into their halloween decorations till now. She would always walk past decorated homes, wondering just why people would put so much effort into making thier homes so spooky for just one day of the year. It was the same thing with Christmas really. All that decoration for one holiday...Needless to say, she was starting to understand. She also wondered if they were allowed to have parties back at deus. Maybe they could all have a christmas and thanksgiving party?

But then again, most of the hunters she met didnt seem like the types to celebrate holidays. Man what she wouldnt give to have a halloween party complete with a costume contest. BUT once again, since it was Deus and jumk, she figured no one would want to celebrate anything halloween. Shaking her head, the smalleer wolf smiled and nodded, "Yes! Who knew humans had such good tastes?" Did she want to go inside? Sure why not?

She tilted her head towards the neko and grinned. "Gottcha. Winter's comming....." God she missed Game of Thrones. But joke aside, she managed to look full of wonder while she walked into the house. Everything did look quite festive from the decorations to the costumes people were wearing. Mercy almost walked past the humas around the ouja board, grinning mischiviously. "Uuuuu look at this....." She crouched down and crawled towards them so she could hear what they were talking about.

"Stacy! Lets see if we can talk to your dead dog or grandfather!"

The female holding the board nodded, waiting till everyone put their hand on the what? Communication device? Before she started talking, "I am calling Austin Slogan to this pane. Grandpa, you there?" Mercy snickered and placed her paw on the device, moving it slowly, just enough for them to think one of them was moving it. It landed on the "N", the teens frowning. "Who is it then if you are not Grandpa?" Mercy moved the device till it spelled something like "These". The humans looked confused for a second. "These who?" Mecry slapped a paw onto her mouth, moving the dial till it spelled: THESE NUTS!

The teens thought they were speaking to some one from the dead only to groan and sigh with dissappointment. "Really Abe?! You couldnt help yourself could you?!" "What?! It wasnt me I swear!" Mercy backed away from the teens, laughing so hard she fell onto her back, grabbing her stomach while she laughed and yipped.

Mercy picked a house, the path leading to the door had a white carpet with red blood footprints and on the surface of the door itself, there were imitated blood palm prints. It was obviously decorated by teenagers, they quietly opened the door and slid in, Shu was slightly scared by the skeleton swinging their way, the exclamation died in its development as she gulped for air. Recollecting herself, she reached out her golem's hand to claw like a feline. "Don't scare a kitty. Evil humans." The nekomata's eyes glowed like two powerful light bulbs and flickered, hoping the professor didn't see that.

It might be feline's nature to tidy the furs when scared, the petite hunter had a strong urge to raise his hand and lick. Suppressed the awful desire, her hands went up to comb his hair. It was a big house, from the front door to the dining room, it took a while. She guessed the owner of the house might be fond of scary spooky stuff instead of cute lovely decorations. The surrounding was very dark, suggesting they switched off all the lights. They followed the only lit area and found a group of youngsters sitting on the floor. On the table was a candle providing a dim light. It looked like as if they were summoning demons. Shu couldn't help but thought of Ember, the demon loving trainee.

Then, Mercy called and she leaned close for their conversation together. While the werewolf took the space on the left, she slid into the gap on the right. "Stacy! Lets see if we can talk to your dead dog or grandfather!" One of the kids said. The Nekomata exchanged a glance with the werewolf, puzzled, do they able to talk to the dead?

Hindered by her own thinking, she wasn't fast enough to stop Mercy from meddling the weird board written with letters and numbers. The "yes" and "no", it was similar to something she knew but it was still hidden in the mist. All fingers on something and move.......

Since she knew Mercy had no intention to harm them, for the fact both of them were humans themselves, she chinhanded and watched. It turned out she played a trick on them. Feigning a nekomata student, he puffed up her cheeks and stifled her leaking smile. "Oh Mercy, you naughty puppy. Professor Winter said 'not to make any troubles' remewber?"

She looked at the teenagers who started a squabble and gave Mercy a look. The werewolf was laughing and almost rolled on the ground. Maybe they should get out? She patted on Mercy's shoulder and dragged the werewolf out. It was her turn to pick a house, Shu chose one with flickered lights coming out from the front windows.

It was one sans decoration, upon entering, they could easily spot the humans gathered because of the smaller size. They were a cluster of adults dressed in black and they didn't make a sound, on the area they encircled were a bunch of candles, which were the flickering lights they saw. Seeing the expressions on their faces and the yellow lights stroke onto their skins, she guessed it was some sort of practices. The sigh she made however, carelessly blew one candle out.

The next moment both Mercy and her folded their ears up, as all the humans were screaming and mumbling with widely opened eyes in horror. "Mew mistake?" Shu pointed to herself, they'd better leave.

Quote:

[ Adjusting Roll down from 8 to 7 ]

Since both her and Shu messed up in the preivious houses they went into, Mercy decided to choose the next one. It was rather plain and unassuming, but what really made it seem spoopy was the "Abandoned" feel to it. She didn't want to go in alone, so she carefully grabbed Shu's hand with a nervous smile. "Let's try this one! Its not like anyone can see us right?" With that said, the small werewolf simply walked, expecting the neko to follow suit.

Once inside, Mercy wriggled her nose at the smell and the dust, coughing a bit. She nearly jumped when she heard knocking, the hair rising all over her body. "What was that?!" She growled lowly at first, moving in to investigate the sound. what she found was a human talking about knocking on a wall. Ahh! She could do this! Mercy let go of Shu's hand, tapping her chin.

How many knocks should she do? Mayyyybe three? Yeah thats a good number!

Mercy knocked on the wall three times, causing the human to jump and mumble something with wide eyes about how each knock was how many hours they had left until they died. WELP, Mercy didnt know that so it would seem that this human now had three hours till they died a horrible death. Or it was just some silly tale like the ring in which you would die in seven days if you watched a certain video. Eh, oh well... Maybe this would be a lesson learned for the human?

Who goes around knocking on walls in abandoned houses anyway? What a weirdo. She looked to Shu for their next move since this human was now clearly spooked enough to start panicing.

Abandoned was a good word to describe the house without lights and covered by spiderwebs, they held their breathe as a gentle blow would bring up all the resting dusts. Shu nodded to Mercy's suggestion, grabbed the werewolf's hand to give her and herself support. Affected by the atmosphere, the cat demon had his chest stuck closely onto the smaller werewolf's back. "It-It should be, as Professor Winter said that, b-better safe than sorry though." She felt like she would bite her (or his) tongue eventually.

Her heart throbbed rapider as it resembled past external missions to search the abandoned places. Quiet, dark and creepy, with a need to turn on the flashlight and stay together. Since her body was touching Mercy's, when the girl startled at the sound and had her body jolted and froze, Shu at a point, had the desire to summon her weapon. It wasn't when she saw her hands and heard the bell on the tail behind her, the fact snapped back - she was in a golem and her body was in the pod.

Mercy wanted to check it out so she let go, but followed her to a wall. Moonlight drearily showered the pale face of the man and his anxiety, Shu wondered the reason for him to brave in a spooky house like that alone. The werewolf decided to answer his knock, she knocked three times back. "No, it can't be." She heard the man said that, followed by undecipherable mumbles. He sulked for a while and pulled his hair, squatted down feebly resting his head on his arms.

It was suggested that they did the wrong thing and the believing man received the fake message from whatever he believed in. The question was how to solve the misunderstanding, Mercy obviously got tired by the superstitious man so it would be her job to settle that. The nekomata gestured the werewolf to come back first and let the man calm.

It resumed the silence to the house, Shu walked towards the man gracefully, picking the old curled floorboards to step on so that they creaked under. When she was a few step away from him, she closed her eyes and began some light crispy kid-like giggles. Each step she shorten, she raised her voice. It, as expected, drew the man's attention. He flickered his head for the laughter but fruitless. The spooky sound didn't stop until Shu stood near him, for a few seconds enough to let his calm himself. "I LIED! YOU'RE TRICKED! NOW GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" She bent to whisper at his ears, and began to giggle as creepy as she could when the man backed away and yelled his way out the house.

The nekomata slowly stood up and stuck out his tongue at the werewolf, "That's the best I could do, at least he won't think he only got three hours before his death." He swung his tail, "Mercy, who do you think he believed was answering his door? The Death?" He moved back to the werewolf and dragged him into a hug but stilled the shakes in his voice. "I don't really like this place, boring, meow. Now we've got our observed superstition, let's find somewhere more interesting, shall we?"

Mercy returned the hug with a smile on her wolfy features. "Maybe? Although I wouldnt be surprised if he thought it was something like bloody Mary or even that one chick from the ring." Her taill wagged excitedly and she yipped in return. "Yes lets find a different home.~" With that, the tiny wolf grabbed the neko's hand once more, leading the way towards yet another house, except it was the same as the one where Shu blew out a candle.

"Sorry, I wanna try to blow out a candle too...~"

The humans had calmed down once Mercy lead them inside, and she made a beeline for the candles, blowing out one again. The humans that whitness this, screamed and fell back. "I-It's just like paranormal activity!" They scrambled to get up, running for the door. Mercy on the other hand, looked at the other humans running out the door. She didnt know whether to be amazed or insiulted. "Paranormal activty really?! What a s**t movie!" She sighed and crossed her arms, tapping her foot.

"Any other place you want to go?~"

"Ah Ringu, she's scaryyyyyy." The Nekomata purred with the hug but it died out hearing the famous names from horror movies. Mercy was prankish in nature, Shu discovered after the girl blew out a candle just to see the humans flustered and go on rampages. The petite Asian wondered if it was the origin for the scenes in those movies, a prank the Halloween denizens played on humans.

The cat demon patted on the werewolf's shoulder, "Normal humans can't see us, so it's paranormal activity for them." When asked where she wanted to go, she pointed at a house across the street. There were adorable jack-o-lanterns on the front yard and inside the house, on the table and near the windows. Warm yellow candle lights flickered and through the holes to shine on the things nearby, Shu squatted to look at them at close distance, tail raised and with a bent tip. All the pumpkins had an interesting smiley face and Shu wished she could take some photos.

"Why do they use pumpkins as lanterns? There're so many choices like watermelons or melons." The Nekomata looked upward and asked the werewolf.
