"Hey---" She had protested again as he pulled, yet made no move to really do something about it. She made a humming sound, more teeth showing as Sal then pulled her cheek to move her out of the way of oncoming costume'd humans.

The reaper watched them go by, but cocked her head as one straggler of the group was...knotting something...? Hel leo-squinted at him, and was silent for a long moment before she gasped loudly and pointed a finger. "He is not making a noose to hang himself with, is he!?" She had, obviously, jumped to a very wrong conclusion and seemed to forget that it wasn't a bed sheet he was knotting, but a handkerchief.

She had to be cut a bit of slack. She'd been watching a lot of movies lately and it filled her head with things.

Finally, after long last, Sal released her cheek. He wiped his thin fingers off on her sleeve as he followed her pointing to the young man knotting a handkerchief.

"Ah…A little small for that neck, yes?" He shrugged, the trinkets in his hair clinking as his head tilted to match. "I'm not sure what he's doing. Perhaps a nervous type?"

Hel didn't pay any mind to Sal wiping his fingers on her sleeve. After all, worse things had been wiped on her clothing---and it was only face after all the times she wiped her entire face on his many scarves and robes. "Oh---" She rubbed her cheek briefly with her palm, pushing the flesh back to show teeth before planting her hands on her hips.

"Oh---" She spun on her heel and looked up at him, her eyes lidding as her lips cracked a wide smirk. "You do not know, Gramps~?" She seemed very amused that, for once, Salbei did not have an answer tucked away somewhere...in those many robes of his. "Maybe!" She laughed then, and pointed down to the end of the street. "We should go see the waterfall! Then we could call it a night, ya!?"

Yes, yes, it was certainly payback. Only a little bit, but it was payback.

"I do not, and there is no shame in that." He reminded her with an innocent whistle. Yes, he played like he knew everything, but he really did not. Alas. He wished he did. When she pointed out the waterfall, he followed her gaze and nodded.

"Sure, why not. Waterfalls are always lovely to look at." He hummed thoughtfully, then began heading in the direction of the tourist attraction. "Plus, it means I get to avoid homework a little longer."
