Neo was just flying around casually when suddenly he saw a fireball heading right in his flight path. Cursing at his luck as he knew SOMEONE would end up trying to kill him, he barrel rolled to the side to skillfully evade the fire ball a she traced it's trajectory to find where it had come from. Flying lower he found the source, a beautiful woman with runic markings all over her body for some reason. Well that was certainly unusual. flying lower he dropped to the ground with a roll and took a defensive position in case she attacked him again with more fire or other magic, as the runic markings on her meant she probably had plenty of annoying powers she could call upon, not good when he was facing an already unknown opponent. Especially bad since as she was a woman, and an attractive one at that he wouldn't be able to face her at full gear meaning he was handicapped to begin with. " So... any particular reason you decided to randomly attack me out of the air? I mean a beautiful woman such as yourself certainly has better things to do then snipe people out of the air? You certainly can't need a boyfriend THAT badly now can you? " asked Neo with a teasing laugh as he was clearly joking. He knew that was obviously not the reason after all but he just couldn't help himself.

Aiden catches his sword with just enough time to parry Nicolai's scythe. "You think shadow play will help you?" He shouts as he jumps back, landing gracefully on his feet. "The shadows are mine." His eyes flash red as he raises his fist and a large cloud engulfs the area in darkness. He disappears, amidst the black nothingness and slashes at Nicolai from multiple directions, using his speed and stealth in near-perfect unison.

My goodness. Axel thinks as he observes the sisters. One, soft and nurturing, and the other tomboyish and straightforward. It's like the sisters all over again. He smiles, then bows. "My apologies madames. Forgive me for not introducing myself sooner." He rises. "My name is Axel. I am pleased to meet you."

Sheilah watched and looked at the "bird" curiously as it dodged and she smiled slyly. She watched it descend as she pushed herself up gently leaning on her hand that had previously been her pillow as she let her right hand fall and fade. Her wings pulled in and curved gently behind her before he landed. She laughed lightly looking at Neo before smiling at him. "it was no threat intended i just thought you were a bird and found a moving target more fun for target practice. As for a boyfriend i have found none worthy and for that matter i don't much care for if they are weak. And if your implying yourself as an offering i would say a bandit killer is intriguing but fairly boring" she said with a devilish smirk taunting him. She tilted her head gently letting her silver hair fall delicately across her forehead.

Nicolai laughed happily as he blocked with the handle of his scythe. "oh good you aren't as worthless for entertainments sake as i had thought" he said before countering by sliding his handle down his sword and swirling around to the right slashing horizontally across Aiden's torso. His smile grew as he felt Gwen struggling to take control. "you know i wonder if you would be trapped here if you do. It might be entertaining though and you would surely die here and no one would help you" he said slightly under his breath to where it was hardly audible to Aiden but it didn't seem he was talking to him. It almost as is he was talking to someone in the shadows or telepathically but had to speak aloud for the message to be sent.

Sydney eyed him before sighing lightly and letting up a little more on her cautious demeanor. "Its a pleasure to meet you. My name is Sydney Overton and this is my sister Sophia Overton. I hope we have not dishonored you with our rudeness" she said half bowing and have curtsying. She then stood and looked to meet his gaze.

Sophia smiled gently and bowed her head in respect and greeting as she was introduced. "she is right it is quite a pleasure and a honor to meet you Sir. Axel." she said before giggling lightly since she had been talking to him for a while now before even introducing themselves.

"so what brought you here Sir. Axel?" she asked curiously since no one ever came to the garden to her knowledge except for Sophia.

Seeing the incoming attack, Aiden disappears quickly and reappears several feet away. He looks down to see a tear in his coat about chest height. "Well ain't that a b***h." He mutters. He notices Nicolai speaking, but notices that there's no one else present, the marketplace having been cleared shortly before the fight began. "Anything you'd care to share with the class?" Aiden says sarcastically, as he takes off his torn coat and throws it on a nearby stand.


Axel exhales deeply, trying not to chuckle. "The pleasure is all mine, my dears. But there's no need for "Sir." We are all equals nowadays. I just hope things can stay that way." He said as he stood up and walked over toward a nearby tree. He leaned against it as he spoke "I've been coming here for a long time now, Sydney. As your sister said, I was the bodyguard to Lady Kiyomi in my younger years. This was her garden that, much like it is to this day, no one knew about. She would spend hours here. Once she passed, I watched over the garden, making sure no harm would come to it. Over time, the plants started to wilt, the leaves began to dry and the water had become scarce. I had no intent of trying to keep it alive; it was not my place. So I just watched over it until, like Lady Kiyomi, the last of it's life had left this world." He looks downward, shuts his eyes and rubs his temples, then looks over to the growing flowers. "But once in a while I'd find myself here again. As for why, I'm not sure. But one day, imagine my surprise when I walked through and saw a single flower bud. I thought nothing of it at first, but my curiosity got the better of me. As the days passed I'd come through more often. Every time I visited I'd see more life returning to this magical place. I was determined not to interrupt such a process by looking for a cause. But once plants were fully in bloom I couldn't stay away. I've been coming here every day since, it just so happened that today I stumbled upon your sister, who seems to be the culprit." He smiles as he looks toward Sophia. "What I must know however, is how you two came across this place?"

Neo looked her over some more to take in her beautiful form a bit more before speaking again with a light laugh at her reasoning. " Really now a bird? Complete disregard for another life, you really are a true demon good stuff. " laughed Neo before finally recovering to speak again. " So it's strength and interest that you look for in a man how intriguing. Another classic trait of a demoness I suppose. As for the bandit killing thing perhaps the reasoning behind it will be more to your liking. I did it to help stop war from breaking out again. That group I took out, which I'm assuming you saw by your words was/ is part of a scheme to kidnap angels and demons alike and sell them as slaves to the highest bidder. By doing this angels and demons will inevitably blame each other for the disappearances and war will be the end result. I plane on breaking this scheme up before it gets that far, should be allot of fun. What do you say, care for a midnight slaughter fest stroll? " asked Neo offering Sheilah to join him if she's truly bored as she seemed.

Sheilah smirked slightly before tilting her head off to the side with a light shrug "i wouldn't say that's all i'm looking for if i was indeed looking but that pretty much sums it up i suppose" she said before standing to her feet and dusting herself off. She didn't seem to care about how he scanned her and didn't pay much attention to it either for that matter. She listened to his words keeping eye contact for the most part before smiling slightly. "well i will never turn down an invitation to have free sparing partners who might prove interesting but regarding the war i don't really care if it begins again or not that is none of my concern really." she said with a shrug. It was completely obvious that if it didn't affect her directly she could care less which way it would go but she did like to train and grow as a fighter that much was certain. "sounds like you got a date" she said with a devilish smirk toying with him.

Nicolai smirked and chuckled lightly "i cant believe you actually care what what this bas-" he began to say before it seemed like he had been sucker punched in the abdomen. He began to laugh hard before calming it to a chuckle "i guess you do. maybe you like him" he said chuckling at the thought. He looked back up at Aiden and laughed more as he removed his jacket "oh look i even made him strip for you. You should be thanking me" he said unable to control his laughter as he taunted the unknown Gwen who was ready to explode and rip his head off. He smirked as his laughter subsided "at this rate you might find out soon enough but for the mean time they are not your concern" he said before dashing towards him with increased speed since they were now on the shadow plane. He swung his scythe horizontally lined up with Aiden's stomach.

Sophia smiled back at him proud of her work and happy that it made Axel happy and able to relive some of the good points in his past. "we found it by chance actually. Sydney was trying to teach me more about being aware of my surrounding and fighting style but i'm afraid i'm still not very good at it and well i kinda got... pushed into the grove." she said only pausing for a moment to select an appropriate word.

Sydney looked away from them slightly making it obvious that it might have been more then a push and that she regretted hurting her sister. She then looked back watching her sister as she continued to speak.

"when i saw how sad it all looked i couldn't help but wander around and evaluate what could be done. Sydney even helped with the heavy lifting and getting things set up to where i could just tend to them and watch them grow back. I guess she helped because she could see the light in my eyes as my passion to rehabilitate this place consumed me. She knew once i had set my heart on helping it there was nothing she could do except help me." she said with a smile and a giggle before looking over toward her sister.

Sydney smiled at her gently and if you didn't know any better it almost looked like a gaze from a forbidden lover but that was not the case. She just really loved her sister since they were the only ones that could understand each other even from birth. It was obvious that Sydney had a strong bond to her sister, a trust that would never falter, that no one could ever compare to. If it came to war this would be her undoing. Her love for her sister and no one else would lead to her demise. Sophia was her entire world and it would take someone even more special to help her over come her delusion.

"They?" Aiden wonders, then with a moment to spare, summons his sword and blocks the scythe. "You're a tad out of the ordinary, aren'cha?" He holds the block for a second, then jumps back and fires several dark energy blasts from his palm.

Axel notices Sydney gazing at Sophia and smiles. He turns back to Sophia and speaks softly. "What a kind sister you have. I wish I were as fortunate as the two of you when it comes to siblings." He stands up. "I sense a strong bond between you two." He looks to the sky. "It's about time that I head back." He bows. "It was a pleasure meeting you both, Sophia and Sydney. I believe our paths will cross again soon."

Neo laughed at her response, it seemed this really was a typical demo nwoman, in demeanor at least, only concerns were themselves. Yep a typical demon indeed, not that he had any problems with that personally. " You really are just like a typical demon you know that? Regarding the war I didn't say the war would be of interest merely that my reason may prove interesting, as I really don't seem the type to care about such a thing. Granted killing random bandits and thugs can always provide some entertainment but that's hardly the point. Of course my reason for interest in the war isn't exactly standard either. But still now is hardly for the time for such talk and I'm sure it's boring you. Come then let us go arm in arm and go as you put it, find the free sparing partners I promised. " declared Neo pointing in the direction they would need to go as he held out his arm to her as he said. If she would accept it or not however was of course anyone's guess and Neo waited patiently for her reaction and response as always.

Sheilah chuckled lightly by his response. She couldn't quite figure out where exactly he stood but there seemed to be more to him then she had originally pegged him for which she found intriguing. She rolled her eyes her eyes slightly at his gesture before placing her hand delicately on his forearm like a proper lady which seemed completely uncharacteristic of her personality. She tilted her head slightly to look at him with a smile. "well lead on." she said acting all high and mighty before smirking playfully. "so does my escort have a name or shall i just call you bird?" she joked since he had neglected to introduce himself and she was not going to reveal that about herself before him.

Nicolai leaned in as Aiden held the block getting fairly close to his face with his own to a point where it looked like he was trying to kiss him. "you have no idea" he said with a demonic smirk before pushing off the block at the same time as he felt Aiden break it. He spun his scythe which seemed to half way cut the blasts but also deflected them. They fell off in all directions at half the strength at which they had been fired from Aiden at.

Nicolai's smirk faded slightly before he touched his chest as if he was in pain and having trouble breathing. "Really?... now of all times..." he mumbled where Aiden couldn't hear but if he was paying close enough attention might be able to read his lips. He shook his head before taking on a more defensive stance then before. Nicolai didn't seem like one to be defensive but came across more as an aggressor which made his new stance out of the ordinary.

Sophia stood to her feet and curtsied "i do hope we will meet again Axel it was a pleasure talking to you" she said before looking up at him with a smile.

Sydney looked up at him and nodded to him before she watched him leave. Once she was sure he was out of ear shot she looked to her sister. "you know that he could have killed you had he been anyone else. You have to be more careful especially when you're by yourself..." she said letting her words fall off as if there was more she wanted to say but kept it to herself.

"i'm sorry i worried you Sydney. I just had a feeling that he wouldn't hurt me and i felt safe in his presence." she said before hugging her sister who reluctantly returned the embrace.

Sydney closed her eyes as she leaned her head against Sophia's "i dont know what i would do if i lost you..." she thought to herself. She then stepped back. "come on lets go and find some lunch" she said with a smile.

Sophia smiled happily "sounds like a splendid idea"

Neo laughed at her reply as he set his course for where they were going. It wasn't particularly far from where they were so they wouldn't need to walk for long to get there. Which was good as neither Neo nor Sheilah seemed to be the patient type so a long walk would probably just spell trouble for the pair. " Gladly milady, it is my honor to escort a woman as lovely as yourself this evening. As for my name I go by Neo, Neo Silverstone. And what do I have the pleasure of addressing you as, I'm sure a beautiful woman such as yourself has a lovely name to match. " asked Neo, making sure to include plenty of charm of course. It wasn't like there was a reason not too after all and plenty of reasons to in fact do so.

(Holy crap, sorry i haven't been active recently.)

Aiden stares, bewildered at Nicolai, dropping his guard as he sees him clutching his chest. "Heart giving out, old man?" He asks, genuinely confused. But as Nicolai's stance changes, so does Aiden, he adopts a defensive stance as well,both hands on his blade and feet firmly planted. "You're definitely a character." He claims, without taking his eyes off of his opponent.

As Axel walks back to town, he looks off into the distance. For a split second he thinks he sees someone, but as soon as he blinks the figure is gone. He rubs his eye and continues walking. "Sight must be going in my old age." He chuckles, as he continues at his pace.

Zetsumei grins from behind a tree. Being a halfbreed and knowing how to mask your presence from both demons and angels was going to make things quite easy. Yes. Lead me right to you, fool. He thinks, as he leaves his hiding place and begins tracking Axel, based on his energy.

Axel makes his way to the market place where Aiden and Nicolai are having their battle. Before they can see him, Axel hides behind a nearby building to watch the two. What has this boy gotten into now? Xale I swear, Aiden is definitely your son. He thinks, cursing the likeliness between his brother and his nephew.

Sheilah smirked at his response as she glanced over at him. "well Neo my name is Sheilah. However my last name is of no importance." she said before turning her attention back over to the horizon. She seemed a little more distance now as she got lost in her thoughts. She didn't want others to know her last name because some people knew about her father and she didn't want them to know about her past at least not yet. The mark on her left foot flashed dimly and slowly as her thoughts trained on her father. She the dispersed the thoughts from her mind and the mark faded back to its normal shade. She turned her attention back to the present and smiled lightly "looks like they are just up ahead unless i'm mistaken" she said calmly as she glanced over at him.

The shadows around them began to buzz and come to life. Nicolai looked up at him and smirked before he began to laugh as the darkness swirled around them concealing the pair from view of not only the on lookers but also from each other. His laughter could be heard echoing before it faded. The shadows at this time were residing and Aiden would find himself back in the square. However Nicolai was no where to be found.

On the other hand a girl with long silver hair and two elegant horns on her forehead stood standing before she fell to her knees before her legs slid to either side and she sat. Her eyes were closed and she was breathing a little heavily before she looked up to see where she was. It almost seemed as if she had been transported or switched with Nicolai.

Aiden stands there completely awestruck. What. In. The. Hell. He walks cautiously towards the girl, dismissing his blade but not dropping his guard. He's only a couple feet away from her when he leans down and speaks to her. "Hey, anybody home in there? Can you tell me where the big creepy dude I was just fighting went?" He raises his hand to about Nicolai's height. "About this tall, pretty grim, severely insecure so he goes around breaking market stands to feel better about himself. Ring any bells?

Neo nodded to her as he noticed a group of snipers having them in their sights, their crossbows armed and aimed right at the pair, likely ready to fire on them if they made one wrong move. " And it seems they have us in their sights as well. I count roughly six snipers watching us from the surrounding high ground. If you have any defensive powers prepare to use them. " advised Neo as it seemed the other bandits had noticed them now as a group of four came out to intercept the pair. The tallest member of the group, a large balding demon with rippling muscles and somehow still a beard spoke up, seemingly the leader of these four here.

" Well it seems you two are a bit lost umm. What are you doing all the way out here and so... alone? Especially such a young beauty like yourself? " asked the man as he was clearly ogling Sheilah and her plentiful... assets. " We are just a young couple out for a night stroll, we get quite the thrill out of potential danger, especially her here, oh ya, you should definitely give her a try she will burn you up. " replied Neo as the man's eyes lit up with the potential this woman offered. Oh yes the man definitely wanted a taste of her now after that comment.

Not realizing that Neo meant she could literally burn him up as she had already demonstrated fire magic when she almost hit him with that fire ball earlier. The clearly perverted man still eyeing Sheilah up decided to just say ******** it as he began to slowly reach out towards her with the intent of likely harassing her pervertedly, not realizing it would not end well for him. " Well then if danger is what she likes then I'll gladly offer it to her, come here beautiful, I'll show you a good time alright. " announced the man as he just went all in abandoning subtlety now at this point.

(( Is the town that Aiden and Nicolai were in the neutral town or just a regular demon or angel town? I would assume neutral or demon but not entirely sure. lol ))

Sheilah smirked before pulling her hand from Neo's arm stepping towards the man. She reached up slightly pushing his hand directing it to her side as he slid it down along her curve to grope her butt. She placed her hand delicately on his cheek before kissing him. The marking on her right hand began to glow. The leader's body grew warmer as fire flowed down his throat and wrapped around his heart squeezing it tighter before the fire flowed through his veins. She was burning him from the inside out. His eyes burst open and he tried to pull away but her hand had slid to the back of his head. Her fingers were curled violently in his hair holding his head in place. He pushed at her trying to free himself but his attempt produced no fruit. His skin began to turn black and his body went limp as the fire ate his muscles first. She opened her eyes to watch the ashes of the previous leader get blown out of form and he no longer stood before her. She looked over her shoulder with an innocent expression as her marking on her right arm faded. "i guess he couldn't handle the heat" she said frowning playfully before chuckling unable to keep up the act.

Gwen looked up at him as he spoke. He was cuter through her own eyes but had the mentality of a demon in the way he reacted with her which was not so attractive to her. She pushed herself up to her feet and brushed herself off. "haven't seen him sorry" she said which wasn't a lie because due to their situation she hadn't seen his face in a long time. She felt bad for lieing to him but there was no real way to explain their situation. She couldn't very well just tell him and even if she could she had no desire to. She hated that he was a part of her.
