The God's haven was nothing like that of the mortal realm, too dull, too boring. Most Gods that dabbled in her realm were either thinking awful things to do to mortal people, or something that lacked complete inspiration. With a huff, today the striped and spotted female was curling a ball of clouds in her paws and releasing it into the sky, letting it float for a few good seconds before exploding quietly in a gentle cascade of multicoloured sparkled that would exist for several lengthy moments before vanishing.
And she would rinse. And repeat.
And on it went, it was entertaining and now and then the sparkling shimmerings that would cascade down would often take shapes. Of elephants. Or wildebeasts. Or cheetahs. Or leopards. Or animals that didn't seem to exist at all except for in the fluffheaded mind of this goddess, before, eventually, vanishing to the ether as well.
On this went, no pardon for her surroundings and no idea who - if anyone - would be watching.

It had been a while since the last time Kefa had returned to the gods' realm. He had a tendency to wander and wandering in the mortal lands tended to be more interesting than at home. However, his mother lived here, and no matter what other forms of inconstancy and inconsistency he was prone to, Kefa loved his shy mother very much, and would always be sure to visit her. Albeit at irregular intervals.
Unfortunately, his mother's shyness often made her difficult to find, even for her own offspring, and Kefa had not had any luck in his search so far. She was not where he had grown up, which did not annoy or disappoint him. Her relocation was part of his domain, he felt, and he could hardly be displeased about that. Besides, this left him the opportunity for adventures and meeting new people, which were both fine things in Kefa's opinion.
So he was on the lookout for new things when he noticed brilliantly colored sparks in the air that quickly fell shimmering to earth. After that it was the work of moments to bring himself to that place. It took considerably more effort to force his body into one basically leonine form with no parts borrowed from other creatures. Even among gods, his tendency to shapeshift constantly and not as a whole was generally agreed to be disconcerting, and he'd rather not put someone off before he even spoke to them.
Assuming he could find them, since Kefa had not appeared in a direction facing the person responsible for the sparkling shapes. Oops.
