RIP Satoru Iwata

Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth.

According to Kotaku, Iwata was forced to skip last year’s E3 due to his poor health, and had to go through surgery to remove the bile duct growth.

We lost a powerful, beautiful mind and I've been depressed about it since hearing the news.

Gold and Silver are still my favourite Pokemon games to this day.

gold and silver back then was probably his greatest achievement by far, he took a version he was handed with one region and just said, lets cram the other one in here as well.
