Shun glanced at Poke and shrugged, "I do not think so? If it did, that would not be the first secret this damn school has kept."

But then he just slowly turned and stared at Lutz.

"I heard that."

Andrew was half frozen up at the sight of all the blood everywhere. Ok not everywhere but he would let the other mess with the liquid gross looking blood looking stuff.

His face had paled at the sight of it and his tail burned a little lower. Gross gross gross.

He just picked a spot away from any chance of touching the stuff and shuttered at Danny's suggestion of throwing it on someone one. Nope."

Even the mouse asking someone to light it again could not get Andrew to move closer to the blood like substance. Nope not even going there, no.

Edel made a face as she overheard Danny's ridiculous offer to West. She was definitely going to pin this one on her if it came down to it.

"Well, the bracelets...they were being sold by a shady peddler in town one day, who claimed they were Fear amps." She paused and folded her arms, keeping her eye on Danny and preparing to retaliate if needed, "Apparently they carry the symbol of a certain mafia group, Shun seems to be familiar with them..." The reaper hadn't offered her much information about the Black Sands, other than they were involved in some sort of trafficking.

"I didn't test it out though," she shrugged, "I can't trust anything anymore knowing better..."

"...Why are students buying things from shady peddlers?" Xiu seemed genuinely horrified, her voice soft and probably only just audible to Edel. She looked at AJ--or stared intensely at him, really.

Xiu perked up when an unfamiliar voice reached her. Realizing that it belonged to the dormouse ghoul, she turned to listen to what she had to say. She was clearly not particularly pleased with what she was hearing, chewing worriedly on her bottom lip as she took in the information.

"Now that sounds really shady," she murmured, shaking her head, "And yes. Even if it does work, I'd guess that any 'extra features' that might be available--since these are coming from some underground organization--probably outweigh the benefits."

After a moment of thought, she shook her head and offered the ghoul a smile. "Thank you for the information. I'm Xiu, by the way, a former student here at Amity."

Her attention flickered towards Poke as the dragon ghoul joined them, a small laugh escaping her lips as she looked between her, Edel, and Shun. "Aniki's right--this definitely isn't the first hidden thing here, and I doubt that it'll be the last. For all we know, the dorms could have been built over some kind of secret cave and we spent our years here sleeping on top of it."

"Correct. The Black Sands. I do not have a great deal of information on them at this time, unfortunately. They have been...off of the radar for awhile, now," he murmured.

It takes AJ about five minutes to fill it up (unless he gets some help). He gets covered with the blood stuff in the process. But eventually, it did happen. Once the emblem was completely full, the entire emblem began to glow, causing the whole room to turn red with its light.

The earth shuddered blow them as a small hole appeared in the very center. From it, a solid beam of red light shot up into the ceiling. Power emanated from this pillar. Something was slowly beginning to form within the light, but it was taking some time to materialize.

Footsteps can be hard coming in from the entrance way. A group of people, each wearing a Fear Amp showed up. They took a quick glance around, before spotting the students that were also wearing one.

"Oh good. We came in time. Heard there might have been some trouble but it looks like it's all clear."

"Get back! We found the passage. The ring is ours!" another voice called out. The five grunts from before were back, and they came with reinforcements.

"Afraid not. The ring is property of the Black Sands."

"Not if the Malocchio get it first!"

"Thieving unsophisticated bunch. What would Batista do with such a thing? Make another bomb?"

"Better than what Jamila would do! I can guarantee that much! She's always got that weird mind control-s**t going on. So step aside, or things are gonna get real rough up in here."

While the two groups were squabbling, it might have seemed like a few shadows also entered the area. Quietly.

"Because," she started, "they don't know what we know" she whispered miserably. And it was only because she was trying to be a responsible senpai who could protect the kouhai that she was here, doing this, sharing the same air as Danny. Though they didn't look like it, Xiu and Edel were war hardened veterans.

"Anyway," she shook her head, moving on to something else, "Say we find what those five were after. Then what? Do we turn it in to the school?" Edel sounded thoroughly unconvinced that any of that was a great idea.

True enough, trouble found them. Armed with two ice spears ready to go, she turned to Shun. "Uh, your call?"

Oh right... She forgot Andrew hated liquids... Well, maybe the other fire demon would try and light the liquid? The Dormouse ghoul was starting to feel a lighter was something she should carry...

When the mousey ghoul spoke, Camilla nods. "I thought he seemed odd... 3 seeds for something like a Fear Amp, seems like a rip off for the salesman... I mostly bought the bracelet because it was pretty! Heh!" she explains with a laugh. When the idea that there might be secret caverns under the dorms was pitched, it had her smiling and her tail wagging. "Heh! I wouldn't mind that! That would mean more adventure!" she says cheerfully. "Nice to meet you Xiu! I'm Camilla, Camilla Forester!" she chirps when the mousey ghoul introduced herself. "I'm a Second Year currently!"

All the talk of adventure had Camilla pretty much forgetting the dark setting she was in. But she was wondering why nobody had figured out how to unlock the next part... Curiously, she looks around a bit. Not at the images, but more at the walls. She wondered if the walls had any small holes or tunnels she might explore.

Edit: Camilla didn't didn't have long to think about it however. Because finally something happened! Unfortunately, while the artifact was revealing itself, the two gangs were revealing themselves! Wait? Did he say Bomb? And did he say mind control? Oh dear... Looks like neither group were good...

"They better not be" she growled. Because this was pretty dam serious.

The talk about a shady salesman selling objects of power was strange as well. "I wouldn't trust those things either." She spoke up again. "Why would anyone willingly sell you power? There must be a catch." She preferred to rely on her own power instead of someone else's.

Although treasure that could make you stronger was pretty tempting..

No. Bad dragon no, it was a obvious trap of some sort. But whatever the things were, apparently Shun knew about some of these people.

When Xiu spoke up about a secret cave under the school, Pokerus just laughed. It wasn't like Xiu was wrong . "Y-yeah...secret caves...heh"

Just the the room began to glow, a beam of light shooting to the roof. She turned to stare at it and whatever that was forming, before the arrival of...even more weirdos had arrived.

She turned towards them, hands flexing as she felt the call of battle coming on.

"Okay, the ******** are you guys, and what the hell are you talking about?"

It finally worked, the smell and color of the blood-like liquids had waken up the naughty, violent kid that got locked up inside AJ. He cracked up a wicked smile, standing next to the emblem to watch as it happened. The beam of red light that lit the room bright, something was waiting to appear in the middle of it.

The arrival of the two groups didn't bother the boil at all, while they were arguing, AJ just stared at the beam. They were fighting for the ring, and he knew when it appeared, a chaotic battle would start. It boiled the bloods in his veins and he excitedly awaited for that moment to come.

He had not fought a bloodshed battle for so long, and his soul was carving for one.

What if he got the ring? Will they come to him?

"Why do you guys want it? Have you guys think of someone will get their hands on it when you're squabbling?" He asked, with a mischievously grin. "Are you guys starting the fight now or wait until the ring is here? Why is it in our school?" The big Head pulled the apron the boil was wearing, but he didn't react to it. He looked like a butcher with all the bloods on him.

He was always just himself in the past, he didn't need friends or anything.

Shun quietly stared as more people flooded into the large chamber. Their allegiances were made pretty clear quickly as well. He shook his head, then noted some of the shadows flitting in. Briefly, his good eye narrowed, but he said nothing on the matter. Instead, he focused his attention back to the two louder groups, watching them both carefully.

"This is supposed to be neutral territory..." he muttered. It was bad enough that they were poking around the school, but at this rate, a fight was going to break out.

He glanced to Edel as she asked him what to do. Ice was in her hands it was clear what she was ready for.

"Not yet. They do not like each other. Maybe they will take each other out. Clean up whoever's left over. Keep an eye on that beam. Whatever they want, it is forming in there. We should make sure neither of them get their hands on it."

There were quite a few of them, after all. The students and Alumni didn't exactly outnumber them both. But if the two gangs were busy fighting one another, they might not notice the Amity kids snatching the 'prize'.

The opposing groups paused for a moment to look at the students and Alumni that addressed them.

"That's none of your business, kid. You should stay out of this, if you know what's good for you."

One of the fear amp wearing skeletons looked around at the students in the area.

"Some of these children are under our protection. Mess with them, and you will really be sorry."

"Oh. Only some, huh? I didn't realize the Black Sands were taking kids for recruits now. You guys must be pretty desperate."

Ignoring the creature that threw the taunt, one of the patchwork Black Sands grunts turned towards AJ to respond, "The ring belongs to Jamila, right? We were going to let you guys take care of it, but we heard these thugs were moving in to cause trouble. So we came to back you up. We really don't want to cause much of a fuss in your school, but we can't sit by, ya know?"

She was speaking the truth. You can trust the Black Sands. These others were the enemy. Remember Jamila's promise. Help her out, and you will be greatly rewarded in turn. This was the feeling the present Jamila's chosen few would feel.

"Trouble? We wasn't gonna cause that! We were going to go in, grab the ring, then go on our merry way. But noooooo, you guys had to show up. And who are you calling thugs? Like you're any better? Now move, stitch, get out the way."

Things were getting pretty tense and Camilla noticed the silent shadows as well... Slowly she backs up close to the beam of light and looks at AJ. She liked his idea of grabbing the ring first, though... she did worry that it would make whoever grabbed it a target...

Something else had the Dormouse ghoul worried as well... AJ was acting strange... His eyes held a almost manic bloodlust... one that didn't seem to belong to the friendly genteel boil she went to the dance with... "AJ? Are you alright?" she whispers worriedly...

Shun hadn't given the call to fight yet but Camilla stood ready incase it came to that. She also stood ready to grab the ring if she could. If anybody should become a target, why not her? She'd been useless against the grunts... and at least she was very agile!
