He waved a dismissive hand. "Two week, three week, sixteen week, same difference."
Chance plucked up the star shaped fruit and gave it a scrutinizing look, turning it over in his hand before he bit into it. It was surprisingly good; the sweetness wasn't overpowering, and it had a fresh, fruity sort of lingering scent to it, which was nice.
"What are you talking about?" he asked, mouth full. "I hardly ever go off island, unless it's like, for shopping."

He took another slice, and then another, because it really was very good. Chance chewed idly on the fruit and gave Claude a grin. "I'm the classiest ******** on the planet," he said grandly. "And it's only a lot of time if you make it a lot of time."
He swallowed and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand.
"Not much. s**t went down, though," he added, gesturing around at the beach. "Here, I mean. There was like, this really crazy incident where there were a bunch of vines everywhere, and people started attacking each other, 'cause they were infected by some virus."

"I'm glad."
Also, since Chance didn't seem somber in the slightest, that must have meant anyone else she would be worried about was fine, which was a relief. Granted, she still needed to go check in on some people regardless, like Dawson, but it was a relief. Actually, this served as a reminder that she needed to go and grill her brother again and see how he was doing...
Thinking about her brother had her mind going places, and after a few moments she snapped back into her current conversation and company. "I got tanner." She deadpanned at him, and then shook her head a bit.
"Honestly, nothing. Incredibly uneventful..." Claude trailed off for a moment, before the corner of her lips pulled up briefly before fading.
Well, maybe not entirely.
