One lamb lay crying on the ground, another glared defiant, bleeding from the mouth. "He thaid I wath a flower."

"...What?"

The angry lamb rolled his eyes. "He THAID I look like flowerth! Thnowdropth and daithies! I'm not a flower! I'm thtrong!"

The nanny shook her head, stern and implacable. "Young man, you've got something in your mouth. Spit it out and tell me properly."

Irritated, the lamb spat a wad of blood, three tiny teeth embedded in the clot. "He inthulted me! Tho I headbutted him until he thtopped. I'll thow him flowerth!"

Name Origin: A typical Totoma youth, this buck didn't earn his name until early adulthood, when the siren call of the swamp wormed its way into his dreams. Determined to see what it was about, he approached the head of his family-herd, only to be shot down with admonition and icy contempt. The dreams kept coming– stronger and more insistent, but the haunting promise from the head of the herd that he would be left forever nameless and shamed to them meant that he wouldn't– he couldn't, leave until he had earned the herd's blessing.

He earned it through offering a challenge, and slaying the lady herself in single combat. He was given a name, and sent off in solemnity, with a couple relatives who had also heard the call and were now free to heed it.

Name Origin: She was always very indecisive. That was her weakness and strength. That way she could look at both sides of a fight and determine which was right. She came out as calm and collected. That way of thinking sure got her into trouble sometimes. She never could pick a side. Everyone just wasn’t sure who’s side she was on, and didn’t trust her much. One time, however, she helped end a fight between two of her friends and made a compromise between them. She showed she wasn’t only on one friend’s side but both. She was trying to help them out, and she gained the name Two-sided.

Name Origin: Being the small runt totoma she had been left at every turn and opertunity to die, never thinking she would survive.

But she did.

A snow storm took place and she was left behind....again. So what she did was shoveled a hole in the ground and wait out the storm as it raged all night.

In the morning the other totoma stared wide eyed as she caught up in the group covered in snow. One of the others who left her behind exclaimed. "HOLY SHITE. YOU LIVED?! HOW?!"

She huffed, white clouds of air coming from her nose, and walked up to the other totoma. "I. Survived."

Then she headbutted him.
