Yasmine walk was graceful and regal. Even with no one around, she had to walk with importance. It was how she was trained. Her mother was a high ranking fighter and her father was a council member. Since she was young she was expected to act a certain way. Now that she was following in her father’s steps, she was even more self-conscious of her actions.

Her father had allowed her to accompany her on his mission. He was speaking to another pride about a treaty between their two prides. Once they had reached the pride, she was asked to stay guard outside the pride’s land. It was a request she hesitated to agree to, but in the end she didn’t want to anger her father nor the pride they were trying to make a treaty with.

It was incredible frustrating for her to be stuck away from all the action, but she was certain she would find her own entertainment in the rogue lands. For the time being, she decided she would explore. In the distance she could hear the sound of running water. ‘That’s a place to start,’ she thought. She headed in the direction of the water.

When she reached it, she stopped when she found a stranger at a stream. A cheetah like herself. It was a small comfort seeing a cheetah in the rogue lands. She had nothing but respect for non-cheetah species, however she had spent her whole life around cheetahs and couldn’t help but have favoritism for her own species. “Hello,” she greeted with a proper tone as she came into view.

Yasmine watched him carefully, looking for any sign of aggression. So far she didn’t sense any danger coming from the male, but she knew that she still needed to be cautious. Rogues could be unpredictable and she needed to be prepared. That said, she still gave him her most welcoming smile.

“I am traveling with my father.” She stated simply. “We are conducting pridal business.” Her voice was filled with pride.

“How about you? Are you from this area?” She asked curiously, before dipping her head down toward the stream and getting a sip. It was nice and refreshing.

“The life of a traveler must be so much fun. I am sure that you have many stories to tell!” She enjoyed listening to stories that outsiders brought to Nera. “I actually spend the majority of my time in my pride. This is my first time I’ve been allowed to travel outside my pride. It’s been a very peaceful journey so far, which for my first outing isn’t bad. It just means I will lack stories to tell when I get back to my pride.”

Of course her contribution to the pride wasn’t to tell stories, but she would have liked to share an exciting adventure with her siblings at least. “Do you think that while I am waiting for my father, that you could show me around? Maybe you could tell me a little more about your travels?” She was always eager to learn more about places and prides that were not her own. “My father is going to be in his meeting for a while and I am afraid that I have nothing to do while I wait for him.”

Yasmine hadn’t thought about the loneliness a traveler would have to go through. She had always imagined traveling with groups, parting ways and finding another group. The idea of traveling for days alone with no one to talk to sent a shiver down her spine. “You must find ways to entertain yourself while alone right? Like searching for mysterious places and finding treasure.” She said, still imagining the life of a traveler as one with countless adventures.

“I would much rather have tales to tell then return home with nothing, even if the story caused me trouble. Imaging an angry lion approaching me with rage in his eye and I had to defend myself.” She said, acting out the motions of the lion. “And I would return to my pride, the victor of course, but with a long nasty battle scar across my face. Now that would be a story to tell!” She looked at Aeonus with a smile and straightened up.

“Of course, I would have to survive an attack from the lion in order to tell my story.” She thought about what stories she wanted to hear from Aeonus. When she was younger she enjoyed the stories of lost lovers, but now that she was older, those stories just bore her. “How about you tell me about your happiest moment while traveling?” She decided.

So far her adventure her had yet to yield any really interesting stories. If she had been able to go with her father then perhaps she would have been able to find something there. However, she thought while looking at Aeonus, her current situation could be far more interesting. She knew that her father could be gone for days while at the meeting. He was going to meet with her later that day, but perhaps she could ask him if it would be okay for her to explore the area with Aeonus.

She listened to him talk about the stars and moon and even felt a tad embarrassed by the compliment. “You know, maybe you and I could go see the stars tonight? My father's busy anyways, so he wouldn't mind if I did a bit of star gazing.” She said. “He only brought me along to show me the rogue lands. What better way then have a traveler show me?”

Woot for cert! I was thinking, for rps, maybe we could have them go on a little night date after this? And then a third rp where she introduces him to her father?

Yasmine was over joyed with his response. Not only would she be able to see some new sites, but she would also get to hear a story out of it. “Wonderful!” She said, her voice filled with excitement. Tonight was sure to be filled with fun. She couldn't wait to tell her friends about this!
