Merry Wanderer moved into the grove the end the "day round." He looked at all the players with a small smile and began, "The day passed quickly. Like the day before, most had their opinions and were quick to follow through with what they thought to be the best path to follow."
"In the end, perhaps they should have spoken more. Perhaps if the masses had been more willing to speak and offer their thoughts, they would have found the wolves, but instead the quiet were culled, leaving little clues as to who might have wanted to kill them." He looked at the final players in turn before continuing, "When the group were finished with Bitter End, the wolves turned to each other and shed their stolen skins. Then each took a victim for their own, tearing those who had once been their fellows to shreds."
Merry Wanderer then broke out into a huge grin, "Congratulations to our wolves for a game well played! They are our winners! And thank you to all of you for gathering here today to play this game! I hope you enjoyed it and invite all of you to play this game with your friends if you did."
This game had been spectacularly short and there was plenty of time for people to chat about the day's proceedings and still get back to their usual stomping grounds. Merry Wanderer himself was planning on sticking around and mingling with the players.

At the outburst of the last doe to be slaughtered, The Once and Future King laughed in delight, stomping a hoof on the ground repeatedly in approval of her outcry. She had, in fact, been right! What a spectacular event this had been! While her early death had been a tragedy, getting to witness the chaos first-hand had been a spectacle in and of itself. Rising from her sitting spot, Once and Future King bowed her head to her father in respect, then went to intermingle with the players.
"What a quaint and curious game this been! I hope some day the lot of us may play it once again. I apologize to you all for not having made it clearer, but I suppose I failed in my duties as your seer."
The doe gave an aloof shrug, then turned to look amongst the crowd.
"But really, those of us were wolves were actors of great skill, I imagine winning this did give you all a thrill."

Upon the conclusion of Merry Wanderer's announcement, Wild Sage rolled back upright so fast you'd swear his legs hadn't even folded and crowed most of his triumph in a single loud "HA!" and pranced around in a few tight circles.
He stopped in front of The Once And Future King once he got dizzy, catching the tail end of her latest verse, and told her, "A thrill? You bet! It was quite a game, hon. I'll be back to talk to you a little later on." And then, with a wink, he was off again, making a beeline for Bitter End and Sleepless.
"Hey, great game, you two! Sorry about the pretend murders. It'd take stronger stuff than that to estrange family members though, right?" He looked expectantly at Bitter End, smiling widely.
