Mama Ame Prof. Moonie My best friend is currently pregnant with her second child, expected to arrive in October. I'm excited to be an "Aunt" again! blaugh Aww! That's awesome. Congrats to her. It's fun being an aunt whether or not it's "official" or not. smile Is her other kid a boy or a girl?

Prof. Moonie Mama Ame Cute. I'm assuming she doesn't know the gendered baby #2 yet? She's only a few weeks into her pregnancy, so it's probably still too early to determine the gender.
Yeah. The EARLIEST they can tell is 12 weeks, and that's usually through a blood test.
I found out with Olivia at 16 weeks and had it confirmed at about 19 weeks. Found out with Alex at 18 weeks. Eoin wasn't until 28 weeks but that was my first ultrasound. |

She's currently at 7 weeks. So, she's still got a ways to go before she can determine the gender. |
