It'd been awhile since he'd camped out in a forest, his home having been situated in the mountainous region that held little to no trees, it was a bit out of his element to be surrounded by the towering vegetation. So silent, and stoic, they were, their canopy's blocking the sky, and trunks concealing possible enemies. It was a dangerous area, really, with plenty of blind spots... but the soldier had done a thorough job of inspecting the place to make sure it was safe for his party. So far he'd only come across one other Soquili, and they'd turned out harmless, joining the group he now traveled with. All other Soquili scents and tracks were months in age, posing no threat what so ever. It was peaceful, for the most part, quaint, and tranquil... he quite liked it, surprisingly.

The massive male walked slowly through the woods, heading for the opposite side of where his group was stationed, to further investigate the area and the clearing that was nearby. It was a small one, but held wild grasses like one would find in a prairie. It also separated the forest he'd gained intel on, and one he'd yet to explore. Blank, golden eyes stared on towards it, listening, watching... waiting.
