Lindy was sitting in her backyard by the pool with her favorite music playing around her home and her yard. The dark haired girl yawned and rubbed at her eyes, she hasn't been to bed yet considering that she has been stressing out a lot lately upon the arrival of the news that she was pregnant. And the father? Yeah, her ex boyfriend who is no longer in the picture because he was a huge waste of time. Lindy was rubbing her stomach, there was no way in telling if the baby was a boy or girl, it was too early in her pregnancy. And Lindy wasn't yet showing, but the doctor also said because of her physique she might not even get that big of a belly. When Lindy told some of her friends that she was pregnant, they told her to get an abortion while others told her to keep it cause it would be a great adventure. The dark haired girl sighed and made her way back inside her one story home and made her way to the kitchen to get herself an english muffin. Once the muffin popped out of the toaster, she spread some butter on it and then some strawberry jam. Taking a small bite of the crunchy bread, she smiled and walked towards her living area. Lindy lived small, she didn't have a lot of furniture, she had one couch and whole bunch of bean bags around the room for her friends when they came over which was almost everyday. Sitting down on the couch, she started flipping through the radio stations until she came to some music she liked. Eating her english muffin and singing in between bites, Lindy was content.

 Brody woke up late this afternoon. It was a pretty normal occurrence for him. He considered himself a free spirit which couldn't be restricted by the strict barriers of time. He got as much sleep as he felt he needed, no matter what he had planned for the day. Another contributing factor to this was that he didn't have a job where he had to be at a certain time. That wouldn't sit right with him, and he knew he wouldn't be able to handle that kind of pressure. Brody was a self employed artist which was going, surprisingly, very well for him. Brody finally got out of bed at around 2 p.m. and gave a big yawn plus a relaxing stretch. He supposed it was time to get his day rolling. Brody pulled his long locks back into a thick, messy bun, then switched his clothes. He wore a faded tie dye shirt along with some hand cut shorts.
Brody helped himself to a quick fruit salad breakfast before finding his phone (and it was a twenty minute search), and texting his girlfriend. Brody didn't really believe in cell phones. He thought they got in the way of the natural beauties of life, but he bought it as a way to keep in contact with his girlfriend. He wouldn't stand being able to not talk to her all day. Hey babe. Do you want to come over, I want to use you as a model for a project. He sent the text message then plopped down on his hammock which gently swayed side to side in his backyard. Brody loved where he lived, right besides the forrest. Not too far from his house was a lake where he loved to paint and photograph. But when he was simply laying in the hammock, he'd shut his eyes and listen to the water run.

Lindy was sitting on the couch with a bowl of her favorite fruit pineapple when he phone started playing some Bob Marley and she smiled when she saw who's name popped up on the screen. It was Brody, her boyfriend, reading the text quickly she texted him back. 'Yeah, I'll be over real quick.' The dark haired female finished her pineapple and got off the couch and slipped on her sandals. As she was walking out the door she made sure she had her jeep keys in her pocket. Usually Lindy and all her friends walked everywhere they went unless it was far away, but when she was just going over to Brody's she drove the jeep. It was open doors and open roof, perfect for her free spirit and her adventurous soul. Lindy didn't have a job at the moment considering that she didn't like working for strict businesses but she was seriously considering getting a job now that she was pregnant. And she yet to tell Brody, she was terrified to tell him. Like how would she bring it up to him. "Oh hey, I'm pregnant, it's not yours, its my ex boyfriend's baby." Brody never gets mad, but that was sure to get him pretty upset.
Pulling into the driveway, she turned off the engine of the jeep and walked inside her boyfriend's home. Taking off her sandals right at the door she called out his name. Lindy loved walking barefoot and she hated putting shoes on, but she couldn't drive without them or go inside anywhere so those were the only places that she really ever wore shoes. Once fully inside, she saw some fruit on the kitchen counter and grabbed herself a banana and started eating it.
