Lindani was in, surprisingly, a good mood. Usually he was worried or scared, this moment of freedom from such emotions was a gift. A gift he would spend wisely.

He felt like being social today, a big step for him all things considered. He still ached and moved with a creaking in his step. He wheezed from smoke having damaged his lungs and he couldn't see all that well in one of his eyes. But oh! His biggest downfall wasn't his difficulties breathing, or seeing, it was that he was hideous. It was just plain embarrassing, he pitied anyone who wanted to be in his company. He looked like death and even had a vulture stalk him once. Clearly he wasn't much to look at since the fire had touched his skin.

Lindani was kind though. He had learned long ago that being mean got him nowhere. It was just a bit of work to get him to actually show himself to you. Given the choice, Lindani would rather hide then to show himself to anyone. Except today. Today he wanted to speak with someone and not run away out of some fear of rejection. When he spotted a leopard in the area he approached with a smile touching his lips. "Hello!" He called.
