He felt lost. He made a wrong turn and now he some how strayed further away from where his sister was sleeping. He cursed silently to himself as he turned right and started to head down a narrow wooded path. He really should stop venturing off like this, being he was not quite acquainted with this territory, but he could not help himself. It was in his blood to explore, just like his father who he knew so little of besides drifting from place to place.
When he came across a tree that looked familiar he squinted his eyes. This was a tree he’s seen before at least it looked like a tree that was nearby their spot. Still, there was a faint insecure feeling starting to grow and as he glanced more at his surroundings it did not seem all that too familiar as he had hoped. He shook his head and started to turn towards the left path, if he continued this, he’d end up trapped in these damn woods. That would be no good, who knows what type of things were hidden here?
The stallion stopped in his tracks and let out a frustrated sigh. It would be great if someone was nearby so he could ask for some sort of direction. Though who would be walking around at this time of the night? Probably a predator….
Herearsperkedupasthewindcarriedasoundfromaroundthebendinthepathbeforeherandshestoppedwalking.Shewasprettysureshewasstillsafelywithintheboundariesofherbrother'sterritorybuttherewasachanceshewasn't.Asquietlyasshecouldshewalkedclosertothebendpeeringcloselyatthetreesthewholetime.Reachingthebendshecarefullylookedaroundandstared.Therestoodthemostcolorfulunicornshehadeverseenand....washestaringatatree?Unicorndidn'tnecessarilymeanfriendlysoshestayedwhereshewasandwatchedhim.Afterwatchinghimforbitshesteppedfullyaroundthebendand cleared her throat in an attempt to let him know she was there. "You seem even more lost then I am," she said softly hoping her late night walk wasn't about to take a turn for the worst.
