Things that are crunchy and soft at the same time are magical haha.

my gran has dentures but doesn't use them much because they are so troublesome and because the shrimp was soft enough she ate without dentures lol

That's how my husband's grandma does it.
She has dentures but she just.. doesn't use them. xD
So she makes nothing but soft food.

i'm like, do you know how expensive getting those was? but she just doesn't use them if she can't help it xD
same with my gran
she simmers the rice in water first before she eats it every dinnertime now xD

Yeah they're really really expensive.
It's kind of sad to spend that much money and NOT use them. xD
But I guess maybe it's a hassle to clean them? Who knows lol.
I like to have rice that isn't too soft. o wo; Same with noodles.

My gran lost weight in the process of getting them though
she had to systematically come in like once a week to get a few teeth pulled out until almost all of them were gone
then she got a prototype denture, then depending on how they felt, she told them where it felt uncomfortable and they fixed it and she finally got it
But in all that time she was pretty uncomfortable with eating
she lost 5kg because of that but now shes like, dont' wanna use it! xD
oh yes its a hassle to clean them
she specifically says no to certain foods that will make cleaning them harder for her xD
i like chewy rice <3

But yeah, not wanting to clean those things can stop people from eating certain things. xD
You gotta definitely keep them clean or they'll get all gross and messed up. ; w;

Oh gosh. o Ao I think my husband would like to try kimchi.
But it doesn't sound appetizing to me considering I really don't enjoy vegetables. xD
I'm such a wuss haha.

I can guarantee that the veggie taste is almost nonexistent
but, well, you'll know when you taste it
also, if you grill kimchi, it tastes EVEN better and goes great with meat <3
