An abandoned building sitting in one of the less populated streets of Gotham. It's rundown, and a bit under the weather, but not bad enough for the city to demand the owner tear it down.

The bottom level of the building occasionally gets visitors, but the second and upper floors are completely inaccessible. If they ever are accessed, visitors will be met with metal doors blocking any and all access into the building.

The building is owned by "NSHU", and is currently the secret base of Emily Belmont. If uninvited guests are not blocked out completely, they will be met with lethal force for compromising a hidden NSHU base.

[[ ENTER from Gotham ]]

A yellow taxi slowly pulled up to the corner of the street before stopping. The side door opened, and a woman wearing a black jacket over a long, formfitting white dress stepped out. Her white high heels clacked against the cement as she turned and closed the door to the cab. She sighed heavily and slipped her phone back into her pocket. The Count hadn't texted her back, so he had to be in the middle of his meeting.

Reassuring herself that Blackstone was only threatening if Edmond made himself a threat, she tossed a few locks of her honey-blonde hair back from her face and moved around the side of the cab. She moved to the drivers side and tapped on his window to let him know he could head out. She waited for the man to drive away before walking down the street towards her building. Her brown eyes glanced over the street as she walked, making sure there was no one about to watch her. She needed to walk into the apartment complex next to her building. She needed to make it look as though she stayed at that building, rather than the abandoned one. Even if there was no one to see her go inside. She was... overly cautious like that. Such precautions helped to ensure her survival. And a well groomed woman wearing a white diamond studded dress walking into an abandoned building would draw quite a bit of attention.

Making absolutely sure she was safe, Emily walked up to the doors of the cheap apartment complex and walked inside. From there, she didn't need to worry about who seen her. She had on occasion used this method of entering her own building. Walking through, taking the elevator to the top, and vanishing on the top floor. People had seen her before, and she was sure most assumed she lived on the top floor or visited someone there. Tonight would be no different. She walked straight to the elevator and waited inside as it noisily made it's way to the top. She took out her bag and pulled out a small device with numbered buttons. She pressed a code into it, then placed the device back into her purse. When the elevator came to a stop, she walked out and moved straight down the hall again. Strait to the end of the hall, and around the corner. There were only two rooms there. One that was still open for rent, and a janitor closet. Making sure there was no one behind her, she ducked into the janitor closet.

From there, she moved towards the single window in the room. The one she used to hop from this building to the open window of her abandoned apartment complex. With the flag pole hanging from her building, it was nothing to hop towards it and swing inside the window. Granted, it would be harder in her current attire. This dress wasn't exactly maneuverable. Nor were the heels. Still, there was no easier way to get into her building unseen. Her security was down just long enough for her to slip inside, then set it back up again.

With another heavy sigh, Emily climbed her way up onto the window and hopped out. The pole was only a few feet away, and easy enough to grab onto once she came to it. She swung her legs to the side, directing her body into the open window below her. She let go, and her feet hit the window sill of her building. Handles on the inside of the window helped her to grab the window and pull herself inside. Once she was safely in, she pressed a button next to the window and began looking over her new dress. The security system beeped, and a board-colored slab of metal slid across the window. It was low grade security, but she rarely ever needed to use full security on the windows.

With no rips in her dress, and no scratches on her legs, Emily sighed again and began walking down the surprisingly clean hallway. While the outside and lower level of the building looked run down and abandoned, the upper levels were fully furnished and clean. The stairs were demolished on the bottom floor, and the elevator was out, so there was virtually no way of getting to the upper floors. Even if one would, there was a heavy amount of security on the second floor blocking any access to the stairwell or elevator. No one got in unless she allowed them in. Same for the roof access.

Safe inside her hideout, Emily let a sigh of relief. For the first time all night, and she meant ALL night.... she felt as though she could relax. And the first thing she was going to do was get out of this ridiculously expensive dress Vandal Savage had given her.

RG-17

Inside the darkness of the desolate elevator shaft, there was only a split second between the stillness and a rush of movement. One blink, a flash, and a figure was dropping down it, lithe and pale-skinned. In a flurry of movement, the figures arms stretched to their side, and suddenly two large shafts of sharp bone extended, piercing the figure's skin above her wrists, and let them drive into the metal, slowing the descent.

Soon, she came to a stop, looking around the dark corridor. The small, pale girl's eyes were bizarre and stunning, one red, one blue, and her face was turned in a hard scowl. Her head was covered in closely cropped hair of pure white, and a thin metal band, a collar, was around her neck. Carefully, but quickly, she began to pull the blades of her arms out of the wall, and drive it back in higher up. She climbed quickly, ascending the corridor with her natural weaponry to reach the only source of available light; the elevator doors.

As she came to eye-level with them, she let out a small growl, and it deepened as the skin around her fingers parted, torn from the inside as her finger bones grew out into full-fledged claws. Now, prominent and sinister-looking, she retracted the blades from her wrists and leaped forward, driving her claw-tips into the metal with a grating noise. She dragged her bone claws along the doors, grating her teeth as she did so, the noise angering her sensitive ears.

After a moment, she stopped, and pulled free her claws, before jamming them into the crack of the elevator doors, yanking out to pry them open. Her small frame, no-more than five-foot-two, quivered slightly as the metal doors parted, and light finally showed on her from the hall she was now faced with. Her clothing was simple, and odd for someone so clearly young. A sleeveless white shirt of a very thin material with a low neck, and the type of baggy, thick pants a mercenary might wear adorned her form. A distinguishing tattoo, similar to a bar-code, was also present on the back of her head, at the bottom of her hairline, and her collar had the text "RG-17" engraved in it.

RG's blood boiled. The pangs of rage were building already, her bones ached to feel the resistance of another's flesh, and her stomach began to yearn for food. Meat. Meat to make the pain stop, block it out for just a small while. But after a moment, she looked around, her mismatched eyes narrowing. This wasn't the cage. It was similar, but different. Her claws seemed to pull back, the skin of her fingers healing over. It made her bones scream with pain, and that pain pushed her forward, her nose sniffing for anything that could constitute a new meal.

Taking a few steps, her superhumanly keen senses caught something. A human. Female. She dropped low, and began to move quietly on her bare feet towards the scent, finding her trail coming to a door. Snarling a bit, her heavily clouded mind began to move. Natural instinct, hunger, rage, all argued against the indoctrinated training and tactics of a girl made to be a weapon. Waves of the female scent rolled to her nose, and it egged her on too much.

Her right wrist gave a few specks of blood as the foot-and-half-long blade of bone came from it in a sudden rush. She lifted her arm and drive the blade into the door handle, her strength enough to destroy any concept of a lock as she forced the door open with a shoulder, looking around for where the scent's source could be found.

While the intruder had been busy trying to get into the building, Emily had been busy changing into something more comfortable to settle in for the night. The blonde woman was standing before a large built in closet when the intruder made her way into the elevator, dressed in a long baby pink robe and staring at the white and diamond lined dress that was now hanging in the closet. A small smile was curled around her lips as she admired the ridiculously expensive dress. She had to admit, not even Blackstone had ever given her with such an expensive gift. The more rational part of her brain was screaming that she needed to return it to the man. She had nowhere to wear it other than the Lounge, and Cobblepot would LOVE that...

The less noble part of her though, wanted to keep it. Even go to the Lounge on her day off and wear it around. Show off. Perhaps... perhaps being blackmailed into working for Savage wasn't going to be such a bad thing. Not if she played her cards right.

She didn't have long to think on it though. A flashing red light in the corner of the room caught her attention quickly. The alarm made no sound, but it did make sure to flood the room with a harsh light. SOMEONE was inside. Farther than they should be. She was not expecting company, and she was sure that no one had followed her. Regardless, someone had breached her security somehow.

Emily closed and locked her closet, then sprang for another closet on the other end of the room. She ducked inside of it and closed the doors behind her. She needed to be able to get from one room to another at a moment's notice.

RG-17

The shattering of the lock's inner mechanisms and most secure bits allowed RG's bone-blade to enter the bedroom on the other side. Once the door was, for lack of a better term, "unlocked", she quickly retracted the weapon, and extended the claws again, throwing herself at the door and busting through it. She came to land on the floor of the next room, leaning forward and scanning the space.

Her claws flexed in anticipation, the scent closer and clearer than before. RG dragged her claws on the floor, her nostrils flaring as she took to sniffing at it too. The scent was promising, now. Soon she could stop the pain for a little bit. Make her bones quiet down. RG sneered, her senses disoriented by the arrival in the building, forcing her to get to her knees and press her ear to the floor.

The heartbeat of the prey she had smelled was close. Standing, RG looked to the two closets in the room, Both smelled faintly of the female scent, but her clouded senses, while still sharp, were coupled with impatient desire for food and violence. It seemed she would have to use a more immediate tactic to find her prey. Standing between closets, RG raised her clawed hands up in opposite directions, and her brow furrowed.

From the skin of her forearms, protrusile bones began to tear out, looking like dagger blades as she pointed towards her hands. They seemed to surround the girl's hands, causing light bleeding before her skin wrapped around the base of the bone again. After taking a deep breath, and a moment of silence, the bone shards suddenly exploded from her limbs, powering through the air and driving into the doors of the closets, at least enough to protrude through the other side about an inch-and-a-half.

Then it was time to wait, her prey would have to react to that. RG knew that if she didn't, the white-haired genetic monstrosity would have to tear through the entire building for a way to ease her pain.

Unluckily for the intruder, one of the said closets had a small escape door in the corner that was just large enough to crawl through and into the other room. THAT is why Emily had ducked into the closet as soon as the building had alerted her to and intruder. Her computer room was not far from her bedroom, and she escape holes such as that in each room on this floor. Hidden, of course, but Emily did not have time to close the hidden door in the closet when she made her escape. Ripping the main door off of the closet, and shredding what clothes were there, should help to reveal Emily's quick escape, and the direction she was heading.

In the next room, meanwhile, Emily was busy trying to activate her security system, and get to the newest message Edmond had sent her. Once she heard the beautiful little beep of her aggressive and defensive security system kicking on, she breathed a little easier. NO ONE should know of this place, let alone the broken down building actually had something of value inside. She didn't know who this was, or what they wanted, but they didn't knock and they weren't invited. THEY were getting a nice little visit to her prison cells.

Looking to her phone, she opened it up to check her voice mail. It had to be the Count... but she wasn't expecting him to call her. Otherwise she wouldn't bother to see a message with the current... situation happening.

As she listened, she grimaced. Trace a phone. Super. Alright, she could multitask. Just open this program... plug in the phone here... activate that... set that to record and track.... open that..... alright. Phone was being traced. Now keep away from the computer and make sure the visitor didn't mess with the computer. She could do that.
